I have been shooting Thunderheads for 15 years with my vertical bow have been very reliable, I have harvested many deer with them. I am now and have always been very happy with the way they thunderheads perform. This year I was injured and bought a crossbow. I decided to use the same fixed blade technology row whitetail hunting I am very satisfied with the flight characteristics, the penetration and way it quickly brings down a whitetail deer. Harvested two deer this season with two shots. Thinking that a properly sighted crossbow, with a well designed broad head is unfair to the animals.

My go to broad heads. They shoot straight and accurate! Furthest a deer has gone after using these is maybe 100 yds. Don't waste your time on those mechanical broad heads.

I have used thunder heads for over 30 years. My regular ones flee all over the place so I tried these for my wicked ridge crossbow. They are dead on for left and right but7 inch low. They shot dead on with the forty HD line.

Wow! I'm new to crossbows / archery although I've been a rifle and black powder hunter for years. I took two large Northern Oklahoma does with these and the results were impressive. One doe at 30 yards and the other at 40 yards with complete penetration through both sides of the rib cage. I could not find either crossbow bolt and both deer piled up within 50 yards. The wound tracks were as destructive as any bullet that I've taken a deer with.

I shoot hogs with these. The times I retrieved my arrow, the blades were broken and the broad head was pretty much not usable. That said, the hog usually runs off and I don’t care to lose expensive broadheads on a hog. I would not use these on deer or anything I wanted to retrieve.
