This float works great. I've tried various versions, but this one seems to be the most reliable. I use it in my backyard water fountain. The fountain has a 12 gallon above ground base, and then brass cups that are spaced vertically above the base. (I got it from a well-known big box store.) I attached the float to an empty water jug, and weighted the jug with rocks so that the float is at the right height. Water is gravity fed from a rainwater barrel, so this float is perfect for maintaining just enough water for the pump without overflowing.

Gets the job done. Longevity not expected to be long.

great product I got two of them installed just werid sometimes the water keeps filling up slowly then overflows leaving water all over my sunroom then next day the water will be at mid level like normal the other side stays at same level all the time .. maybe one of them was defective or something but does help a lot in keeping fresh water for my pets

The original lasted about 3 years. For the price it's a no brainer.

I got these specifically because the picture shows an outlet nozzle, which I intended to attach a hose to (low pressure, so didn't need anything fancy). What I received instead has no nozzle, and is just a square block. No idea how it actually functions, as I just immediately returned it.

All of the valves in the order have the same problem. They just don't shut off completely!! My dad is excellent with plumbing and he has this set up with all the correct fittings and has the float valves set to the minimum setting - but NOTHING will stop them from overflowing and leaking all over our basement floor. We have tried everything. I am SO FRUSTRATED with this. We have four of these waterers installed at various places inside and outside, and the ones that still have their original float valves all work just fine. The replacement valves have ALL failed. This is the sixth one that has turned out to be garbage. Very unsatisfied.

Definitivamente son como para tanque de escusado o pecera, algo así. El tupo es muy angosto, como media pulgada (no los tengo a la mano para medir exactamente). El caso es que pensaba usarlos para el tinaco y al menos para eso ni de chiste. Podrían funcionar porque se ven fuertes y de buen material, pero lo dicho, el flujo de agua es una cosa de nada.

Funciona muy bien, corta el flujo justo en el ajuste que se le aplique al flotador.
