The entire application process is fully digital. The identity verification took just a few minutes, and I received the credit decision almost instantly. What I appreciated most was that the digital version of the card was ready to use on my Amazon account immediately, even before the physical card arrived in the post. 2. Mobile App Performance: The dedicated banking app is outstanding. The user interface is clean, modern, and very intuitive. Biometric login is lightning-fast, and viewing my balance, transaction history, and upcoming payment dates is completely hassle-free. Push notifications for every transaction arrive instantly, providing great peace of mind regarding security. 3. Cons: The physical card took about 5 working days to arrive in the post, though having the virtual card available immediately mitigated this completely. Honestly the best card I've had and easy to manage and gives rewards for the little extras that we might need to get us out of tight holes especially given the cost of living crisis everyone is in and experiencing at the moment so I'm truly greatfull to have this thank you amazon and barclays I appreciate you for this card

Happy with the product. Does what its supposed to. The app is easy to use also. Earning rewards when spending on Amazon is great. Save the rewards or transfer amazon vouchers to the linked account.

Easy application and quick to set up. Online banking is easy with a simple interface and management. Once I set up a debit card to pay off the balance, it was just a matter of entering the 3-digit security code each time to authorise full or partial payment. Amazon credit is applied as soon as the purchase is added to your card (after pending). Then you can leave it build up or have it sent to your Amazon account used to set up the card. Just a few minor negatives: The card occasionaly fails to make a payment and no reason given. It tends to be more obscure places like EV charging points. I initially set up the card with a 1K limit. I figured I wouldn't use it much, but it is now my first choice payment. I couldn't see a way of doing it online in the App, so I contacted the bank which was quick and easy. I was happy to be able to speak to someone I could understand and vice versa. It turns out that there is no current facility to incease the limit once it has been set, so I am stuck for the foreseable future. Maybe after I have had the card for a year there may be an option. Despite the minor issues, I would still recommend it, especially if you are a regular spender on Amazon.

My Amazon Barclaycard is now my go-to credit card. It isn't just the rewards that attract me, it's the ease of use and clever little touches, as I will explain. ERGONOMICS Ever since I began using a credit card I've always thought it was a pain when needing to read out the numbers on the back, and for spectacle wearers it's easy to misread or lose your place in the string of small numbers. This card has a unique way of printing them on the back, in a vertical stack of large four digit numbers. Suddenly, reading off the number is simple! Truly, I'd use this card just for that excellent design feature. I do like good ergonomics, and congrats to whoever thought up this neat, user friendly feature. Long may it remain! The next one I'd like to praise is the small cut-out at one end, that allows me to orientate the card correctly in the dark. THE APP The phone app is excellent, and gives me control over my card in ways that other providers do not. For instance, I can choose whether or not to allow the card to be used for different categories of purchase, including petrol, premium rate websites and phone lines, supermarkets, mail order and in-store international payments. I can also decide what limits I want to set for individual payments, cash withdrawal and the contactless limit. I can even turn contactless payments off entirely, which is a great security feature. I can see all my transactions, check my balance, pay it off early, see my rewards total, report my card stolen, temporarily freeze the card, or make a suggestion for a new feature. It's all very flexible, and I can adjust the settings whenever I want. I feel like I have very good access and control. THE REWARDS I do a lot of shopping on Amazon, so earning cashback from it is very welcome. I like the bonus of extra cashback during Prime events, and using the card to shop elsewhere earns me cashback too, albeit at a reduced rate. The card holder can choose when to cash-in the rewards and they're added to your Amazon balance, to be used against the cost of purchases. CONCLUSION I'm very glad to have this card, and since applying for it I've pretty much stopped using my other credit cards. This one gives me greater control over my finances, is easier and more pleasant to use, and has better security features. Plus it gives me cashback. What's not to like?

It was mere serendipity that Barclaycard and myself came together. I was on Amazon, buying some books when the ad for Barclaycard appeared. Without much hesitation, I clicked on the icon, and the rest, is history. The experience has been magical, to say the least. The app and the card, are extremely user friendly. On top of that, I get bonus rewards. The app gives me information on how much to pay to avoid interest. The debt payment method to the card is very slick. All in all, to all out there I would say ' what are you waiting for? get your card now'

The Amazon Barclaycard is great, especially when the vast majority of purchases are via Amazon. It only gets 4 Stars, because, unlike almost all other credit cards, you can't add it to Apple Pay, which makes it incredibly inconvenient to use this as your sole credit card and utilise all the benefits it offers. The Barclaycard app can be frustrating at times, especially when you want to find your card details (as you can't have it in your Apple Wallet!) so you end up adding it via its details, but the app almost always refuses to show you, your card details..... finally don't get me on to how may hoops I had to jump through as a plus 20 year barclaycard customers to actually get the card in the first place... finally.... the chatbot, i'm always going to want to speak to someone, the chatbot just frustrates me, get rid of it and offer propper customer service.... That's my honest review, i like the cashback it offers, as for the wrapper around it, well I'll put up with it, but it ain't great, which is a shame, considering Barclaycard has so many year experience, for that point of view a LONG WAY to go to make me a happy customer.
