I like the delivery time. I can not say anything else on the book since it was a present for my son, and I did not read it.

Book is very timely, broader than expected. Very good eclectic range of texts/pictures for college-level students. Also great reference for mature creatives and artists alike, who seek diverse insights into this quality of depiction, which is increasingly one of several contemporary styles being explored recurrently on an international level.

Good book

The Cinematic is a good selection of texts regarding the cinematic particularities of images. Focused on the relations between photography and cinema, the book also brings concepts of visual culture in general. The nice thing is to be able to select the texts individually without compromising comprehension, although I recommend reading David Campany's other book first (Photography and Cinema).

This book brings together key writings on subjects such as The Captive Moment, Photography at the Cinema, Seriality etc. David Campany is an excellent editor. As a degree student of photography, this book has been so useful
