Worked perfectly!
Needed to put an 15mm inline valve on a toilet feed, low pressure, this pipe freezing kit worked perfectly. Took about 5 mins to freeze the pipe and I had about 20 mins to work to cut the pipe and put the valve on the feed side. Then I had all the time in the world to work on the pipe out of the valve to the toilet. Second time I've used one of these pipe freezers and worked like a charm. The blurb says you get 30 mins well that depends on air and water temperature, I got about 20 mins which was enough but best thing is get it set and get cracking just in case, like me, you don't get the full 30 mins they say you will.

Perfect easy to use
Have used this product before, hence why happy to use again. Very easy to use and freeze stayed effective long enough that I did not have to rush the repair. If I had to offer one bit of advice, have spare cable ties, to secure the sleeve. This item came with only 1 cable tie, which is fine if you are freezing a vertical pipe but not so clever if you are working on horizontal pipework, which requires a tie at both ends of the sleeve.

Worked really well
The price of the refrigerant is shocking. So I bought 2 of the cheapest kits they do. Each kit comes with a 150ml can of refrigerant. I used a whole can for each 15mm pipe, maybe overkill but better than a flood. It worked fine. I watched a few videos of other people using it first. Hilarious. One guy froze the pipe and then cut on the pressure side of the freeze, chuckle... (don't do that)

Dont waste your money
I purchased this to replace a thermostatic radiator valve which is literally a 2min job once the water is off. Not wanting to drain the entire system, I thought this product looked ideal. I used it horizontally, tie wrapped securely, made a hold as instructed and then squirted in the entire canister. Waited 5min, and then slowly unscrewed the fitting to find that this product had achieved nothing. Water was flowing through with the same pressure as normal so couldnt complete the job. I checked the pipe and although it was cold, it definitely hadnt frozen the pipe. Central heating wasnt warm as hadnt been on for over a week, all pumps turned off etc. So followed instructions to the letter. I would avoid this product, it may have worked with 2 bottles of the product, but definately doesnt work with a single can on a 15mm pipe.

Tricky
Used on a vertical pipe the liquid kept running out the bottom despite extra ties. Wasnt sure if it had worked, but it had, however needed whole can for one freeze.

It's easy, and it works
I bought this to avoid draining down the heating system so I could replace a radiator valve with a thermostatic type.I had to cut about 1/3 of the length of the jacket off due to the length of my visible radiator pipe above the carpet so I was concerned whether I'd still get an adequate ice plug forming inside the pipe.I needn't have worried - this worked flawlessly, despite the shortened jacket and I was able to swiftly replace the radiator valve with no fuss or leaks. Will use again.

Excellent.
Did the job well. Would highly recommend. Saves a lot of messing about draining the system.

Expensive, not great
Not sure if I did it wrong but I followed directions. I’m quite a practical person I use the whole can to try and freeze 15 mil cold copper and it didn’t freeze. Leaked quite badly wasn’t impressed. Don’t really know what else I could’ve done.
