L.A. Girl PRO.color Foundation Mixing Pigment, Blue GLM714

I recently started switching from an entire lifetime of pressed powder foundation to a liquid (I'm 33) only because it's difficult to combat the dryness on my face and liquid seems more hydrating. Initially tried a bare minerals and although the color match was spot on, I hated the way it made my face look. So figured I'll just buy the Neutrogena liquid in the same shade as my pressed powder..simple, right? Wrong. Maybe since it's better coverage/more concentrated the color is off? Even in the lightest shade it was too dark and orange, and I was so upset because I loved the way my skin looked and felt. So I did research and found this stuff. I got blue and white not knowing what exactly would fix it, but I actually use both. After a day of playing around with the amounts I need, a half pump of blue and a quarter pump of white in a dime sized amount of foundation gets it as close as I've ever been to blending seamlessly with my neck/chest, I couldn't believe it. And it doesn't change the consistency or feel of the makeup. I'm telling all my friends about it who aren't wearing some foundations because they look like Trump.

Great for goths. Half a pump covered my entire back of my hand. It might take two layers to build up to a very vibrant white for a traditional goth look, or maybe a white setting powder but I do really like this product because it's buildable. The bottle is nice glass too.

I have a foundation that's I like but was slightly too yellow for me. Added a pin point size drop or two to a small blob (the size of one application of foundation), and it made the foundation cooler, and the exact color I was looking for, that is the perfect tonal match for me. This will not lighten or darken the shade (so now I'm going to buy some white for that). I'm not a make-up artist and it was really easy to use and get the shade I'd hoped for. I took a star off only because the bottle is huge compared to how much I'll ever need in a lifetime! But if this is marketed toward a professional make-up artist vs a consumer, then the bottle is probably a good size. I'm so impressed how well this works!

The white pigment is awesome for fair skin. I often find it challenging to find a good shade match and foundations are often too dark or pull too orange. This totally solves that problem, works well and blends with other liquid products nicely.

So for what it is intended to do, it does well. A LITTLE goes a lonnnnng way. I am impressed, it does have a bit of a sheen, I don't know how to explain it maybe kind of like a cast? but it does work, anyway for $6 this is amazing, I honestly would recommend and will use again when this runs out. It blends pretty well, I do it on my hands, it has great coverage in my opinion makes the makeup a bit thicker, which I do like, but again a little does go a long way so you hvae to figure out how much you need to get the shade you want, but it shouldn't be much.

For context I am goth and bought this for a cheap white base. Now I know its intended purpose was to lighten foundation but so many reviews online rave about this being one of the best white bases for under $10 but it (1). Leaves horrible streaks that are visible even under setting powder (2). Sets almost immediately so it is so hard to blend (3). It will come off with the slightest touch even with setting spray. I also hope you don’t sweat because it will melt off of your face. Overall its probably fine for those who need to lighten a shade of foundation or concealer but it is terrible as a base for trad goth makeup.

This stuff is fantastic! My foundation always seems orange this completely transforms the color and makes it perfect!
