A great and helpful book
This book is a superb reference for anyone considering a table-top or small floor model milling machine for hobby or light commercial use (ie: gunsmithing). The author is British, so the writing style is different from us Yanks, but his recommendations and considerations for a mill and its tooling are solid. Flow of topics is smooth. The author is great at offering money saving recommendations especially in the area of clamps, specialized tooling and vices. I'd recommend this book to anyone who is considering a mill and especially tooling purchases.

Milling machine for the beginner
Seems to be a good basic book for getting started with the milling machine. I recently purchased a small, benchtop milling machine and have no experience using it, so this book was a big help setting it up, getting the right accessories and using it.

Good for the hobby
This book does what this series is intended for. It answers many questions the hobbyist has, in a format that is easy to follow and understand. So if you have a home shop and are considering buying, or already have a mill or a mill/drill,I highly recomend this for your library.

All these little Workshop Practice Series books are good.
Mostly about fixturing, which is at least half the challenge of using a milling machine.
