Thermochromatic Pigment 22C/72F - Sapphire Blue (20g)

I ordered the black to lime pigment. It worked perfectly, and I can't say I have any complaints.It's a nice dark charcoal when cold (not jet black unfortunately, but that's about what I expected), and a light lime tone when warm. It's not a NEON lime, so keep that in mind. Its colors are actually pretty true to the image on the listing.I did end up needing to return it due to my own mistake however. I'd wanted something that would change color easily/quickly, so I bought this because it required a relatively low temperature to change color...though I failed to realize that where I live+what time of year it is means my "room temperature" is super close to the temperature for color change. They're not joking when they say it's formulated for colder temperatures. Somehow I missed that in the description. Whoops! Instead of it resting at black, its resting color was some oddly-colored midpoint between the lime and black, and I could only get it to black by sticking the little ziplock packet in the fridge/freezer for a couple minutes. Definitely not what I intended, let alone needed for my project. So definitely make sure you take temperature into consideration when deciding what thermochromatic pigment to get.But like I said before, it worked perfectly well. Even just by putting my hand on the ziplock of pigment WHILE IT WAS STILL INSIDE MY FRIDGE, I got a color change almost immediately. It took a just a few seconds to get to the full lime tone from cold. If you live in a cold area or want to use this during the winter, this thermochromatic pigment is perfect!

The media could not be loaded.  I tried this on some metal butterflies. I mixed about 10 grams pigment to approx. 16 ounces of basecoat stabilizer sprayed about 6 double wet coats on (flash off between coats) followed up with 6 double wet coats of Martin Senior urethane clearcoat. Works as stated changing from blue to clear above 72°, going to test durability (how long it will last) with and without sun exposure. Hoping to do this to the roof of my snowplow pickup so it's black below 72° and white above. If the vid worked, this is in front of the blower on my furnace.

We bought this to make party favors for our daughter's birthday party. Pigment worked beautifully when mixed into slime. We used Elmer's Washable Clear Glue with Tide Free and Gentle as the activator. It took less than 2 teaspoons of pigment per 8 oz of prepared slime to get a beautiful deep color. Each package has enough pigment to make at least 3 batches of 8 oz slime - maybe more as you could probably get away with using even less pigment than we did. The Thermochromatic effect is awesome! When we first mixed it in, the slime was bright pink and it looked like it was changing to purple as it warmed up (see photo). 24 hours later, the slime was 100% purple. We thought maybe the thermochromatic effect had worn off, but it just reversed - now it turns pink as it gets warmer.

Used this to make cloud slime. Played with various amounts of pigment. Found 1/2 tsp of pigment to 1/4 cup glue to be just right. Enough of a wow effect and a conservative use of powder..anything less was not drastic enough. Mixed the pigmented glue with 1 and half tbsp of liquid starch. Then added 1 and half tsp insta snow ( little at a time). Perfection!

Just amazing!!! I have another one pigment with 33C activation temperature, and you need to hold it for a while to change color.This one change color from little touch immediately! Its so cool. Even not expected that will be so big (good) difference.If its not dark in the summer, put it for a minute in fridge to cool down.

Very cool stuff. Bought it for a gift for a 10 year old girl for slime and she loved it!
