I purchased the lids when organizing my spice cupboard. The lids fit perfectly on the jars and made the jars all look uniform. I prefer the plastic lids for this type of use as the metal rings and lids can rust.

If you've had it with leaky plastic jar caps with silicone rings that bunch up and don't ever fit quite right, then this is the product you've been hoping for. These plastic caps DO NOT take the place of metal lids and rings to actually can and preserve your foods, but they will definitely help keep your smoothie from making an unwanted appearance with reasonable care. The cap screws on evenly and securely, so there's no smoothie slosh-out in your car's cupholder after a less-than-graceful stop. That being said, I wouldn't lay it down on its side in your briefcase and then jump on the subway, unless of course the jar is full of honey-roasted peanuts instead of Banana Kale Surprise...

Really enjoying these lids. I have a fig tree and can a BUNCH of fig preserves. It’s nice not to have to put the two piece metal lids back on each time!

These were very thin—not near as good as others I’ve gotten elsewhere. Also, in comparison to others, these were more than double the price for much lesser quality.

I purchased these because I was tired of my lids rusting and they're great. I personally think they look good too.

Use these every day on regular mouth jars for individual soups, shakes, lunch mains and sides, refrigerator pickles and chopped salads. Also use on larger jars for iced tea, lemonade, cold brew coffee, chai. These can be made leak proof with silicone gaskets sold separately. These and the gaskets are top rack dishwasher safe.

While these caps are a good value, they are NOT "leak proof" or "sheer". The only caps I've found to be "leak proof" are the gray, Ball brand caps that state "leak proof" and they are NOT leak proof with many, non-Ball jars.I use these lids in place of the medal lids for storing, non liquid foods and dry goods. I also use these to replace the metal rings, after canning items that I'm gifting. These caps screw on nicely, right over the metal lids.

I use canning jars in lots of ways and I love the convenience of plastic lids, esp when storing items with lots of vinegar and salt. I have trouble finding them locally so I went online and found these. A package of 24 was way more than I needed, but they were such a bargain I bought them. The kids were a bit thinner than the Ball brand, but I turned a jar upside down and there were no leakage. They were easier to clean and I love them. I'm giving some of the extras to friends.

Used this product to seal storage and canning jars. Worked well.

I bought ones with no liner and they're functional but do not give a watertight seal. I have to line the lid with wax paper to prevent leaks.
