TWSBI GO Smoke Fountain Pen Nib B

This is my second TWSBI go and I just love them. They are so easy to fill and clean. The pens write smooth right out of the box. I can keep ink in them forever without an issue with a dry start. They write well with great shading. My daughter is getting in to fountain pens as well so I picked up one for her since they are simple to use and fill. She always grabs mine to use and now has one of her own 😁

Broad nib is perfect and smooth. Hard to believe a pen this cheap can be this good.

I own every TWSBI fountain pen model, and they’re not only good pens, they’re also an excellent value. The Go is their “low-end” and it’s definitely the cheapest looking and feeling of their pens, so you shouldn’t expect anything elegant, but it writes as well as any other TWSBI. The Go’s biggest strength is how easy it is to fill and to clean. It must be filled from a bottle of ink—not with an eye dropper and you can’t use ink cartridges. But it has a spring-loaded plunger mechanism that is hands-down the easiest and fastest filling fountain pen I own. I wish some of the fancier fountain pens in my collection used the same filling method, rather than a piston, cartridge/converter, or eye dropper. To clean it, squirt out any remaining ink, then just dip the pen into water and press the plunger 3-4 times to rinse it out, and then it’s ready to go again. If you’re the kind of person who likes to switch colors often, this is definitely the best pen for you. I own and use pens that cost $600, but the Go still finds its way into my rotation.

This pen is the perfect beginner fountain pen. It's cheap but doesn't sacrifice quality. It's way easier to fill that most higher prices pens and I would even recommend it to experienced users too.
