KineticoK5 Water Filter

it is the biggest rip off in RO sistems pure junk and when it is time to change the filters you better motgage your house i purchased the softener with the ro sistem paid a ton of money and profesiona instalation and my water test no different then the tap water so i am back to bying bottled water PURE JUNK .

I really like the water flow rate out of the K5. I tried a highly rated RO system which was less than half the price but the flow rate was frustrating and it required power to operate. One feature we wanted was alkaline water. The first unit I bought did not change the PH while the K5 does.K5 has multiple optional filters to handle multiple trouble water conditions. Kinetico dealer can tailor to your water source.Best water quality I’ve had. There is no hint of odor. Can you even taste pure water? It’s good going down that’s for sure.Can’t hear any noise.I had Kinetico dealer install the system and I have them sanitize and change filters as well. The cost to have the pre and post filter changed ends up what would pay on Amazon to change myself. Why, when I can have a professional do it?It is more expensive than any of the systems you buy online. Filters are changed at the same time except the RO filter is last 10 years. You know when to change the filter as the pressure drops and continues to drop until a trickle. Built into the post filter is a 500 gallon mechanical value which is controlled by water flow metering built into K5. This system uses filtered water to clean the RO filter. Why would others not? Wouldn’t you want known good water to prepare your drinking water filter?I don’t want to guess on my drinking water. I don’t want to trust smell or taste. I want a tested, certified system and I want all the filters that go into the system to be genuine. It’s why I get directly from my Kinetico dealer. All guesswork is taken away.

Not necessary to pay twice as much for overrated system. There are so many other ROs that produce 400, 600, or 800 gallons per day and don’t have the bulky, stagnant tank that only produces about 40 gallons per day.
