I love this shampoo! It is truly fragrance free and unscented. It doesn’t irritate my super sensitive skin or scalp. It’s a very effective shampoo. It sudses up nicely and washes out easily. It doesn’t leave any residue or film. You only need to use a small amount, so the bottle lasts a long time. It makes my hair shiny and soft. It’s very gentle, it’s not greasy, and it’s a nice weight. It has prevented my hair from falling out or getting greasy. The bottle is easy to open and squeeze. The cap screws on tightly and closes firmly, so it does not leak. There is also a plastic seal under the cap, so there was no leakage during shipment. It’s a great value for the money. I will definitely buy this again and recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin or allergies

I have been using this product for about 7 years now and it truly is amazing. My hair always feels so soft and clean after using it. I recommend it to all my friends, both male and female as I have seen it work for about all hair types. I have friends with super straight hair who say its great as well as super curly hair who love it too. It feels so clean and while it has no scent, it does not irritate any of my skin or scalp. I can't recommend enough.

Love this shampoo from a reputable company! It really helps my skin & keeps my hair clean & shiny (the matching Vanicream conditioner is great too & takes very little to make your hair smooth).My complaint is with the shipper - Amazon :( They literally take forever to send these every time I order them. For example, I ordered on Jan. 18 and they didn't even mail it until Feb. 3. That's 16 days AFTER I placed the order. This happens every time! I placed an order on March 2, and it is still in "preparing for shipment" status on the 13th. Who knows when it will actually come my way. You'll want to plan accordingly when you place your shampoo order because the SHAMPOO IS SO GREAT FOR PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES it's worth the Amazon shipping hassles.

I have both the Vanicream bottles and the Free & Clear bottles of the shampoo. I've noticed no difference between the two.I have extremely sensitive and reactive skin, as well as chronic eczema for over 20 years. I have to be very careful of the products I use. Including soap. I can't use most soaps. And nothing with fragrance.I also have chronic migraines, and fragrance is a huge migraine trigger for me. So fragrance is a big issue for me.Fragrance Free and Unscented do not mean the same thing. Fragrance free does not mean zero odor. It means they add no "fragrance." And it means they add no "masking agents" which are chemicals used to get rid of an odor. Unscented means they do not add fragrance but they may add masking agents.This shampoo is fragrance free and thus has no fragrance and no masking agents. It has a slight odor to it while using but it's very mild, and it does not cling to the hair after hair is dry. If I had to compare the odor to something I'd say it's just a clean unscented soap kind of smell.Like others have mentioned, I have to use more product. I have to use about one-half to twice as much as I used with normal shampoos. But that's totally acceptable for me.This shampoo does not aggravate my eczema. And it does not trigger migraines.It is a big more drying on my hair strands than I would like, but using the conditioner helps. But perhaps what I should be saying is that this shampoo isn't as moisturizing as traditional shampoos. My hair is not dried by this shampoo, it just is not moisturized. My hair still feels soft to the touch.My hair is not dyed, bleached, or chemically altered. Back when I used to dye or bleach my hair I needed extra moisture and this shampoo may not have worked for me.

After having my daughter back in 2020 I became allergic to everything, even shampoos. This shampoo has helped stopped my head from itching. Doesn’t dry my hair out makes it actually shine and look healthier! I love it and will keep buying! I was very scared at first that it would make my itch worse but it didn’t it, it actually took it away!

Makes our hair Full and Fluffy (fine hair-not thin). No scent, almost clear gel and sudsed up just fine. Did not get conditioner yet. Does not aggravate hand eczema.

This is a great product for short time use. I used it for awhile and the more I used it the drier my hair became. Unfortunately the conditioner did not help overcoming the dryness. This has left me on a journey that still continues due to migraines that are set off by overly scented products on the market. To quote another review “I do not want shampoo and conditioner competing with the fragrances I choose to wear”. That’s the issue the people like myself or those with fragrance allergies have to get through to companies that make products that may be better suited for out hair and skin; by the time women shampoo and use conditioner in one scent, bath in another scent, and style our hair in other scents where is the freedom of choice for our own signature scent be it strong or none. We should be able to use products that are healthy for our hair and bodies without having to settle for a select few brands that are unscented like this one but unfortunately is not healthy for our hair.
