The Polytel GMA is a remote communications link device intended to be used to wirelessly transmit glucose meter readings from a compatible Blood Glucose Monitor to a compatible cellular phone, such as Android running appropriate app or access point, such as the Polytel APT. = The device does not send any real-time alarms. NOTE: you must have a compatible access point or application for your cell phone to use this product. Not compatible with iPhone/iPad. NOTE: Bayer has made a recent decision to discourage the use of telehealth which affects this device. If you plan to use it with a Contour XT or Contour neXt EZ manufactured after December of 2014, you will need to unplug the GMA each time you take a measurement.
