Micro USB Wireless Charging Receiver

Easy to install and is a fast charger. It wouldn't reliably charge my LG-G4 through my folding case (1/8 inch thick back flap), but is great with thinner cases. I left my G4 charging all day to check for overheating, and it only got warm to the touch. Given the variety of cases/materials, hard to predict what will work. But if your case is "thin", it's worth a try. If you don't care about looks, I taped one by the edges to to the back of the my "home" G4. Works great and it seems unaffected by rough handling. If you do, a $6 case from JD works.

This wireless qi charging receiver was a complete waste of time. I set it in my wireless charging platform and it lights up to acknowledge the receiver and that it is transferring juice, but it doesn't charge anything. I've left it in for over an hour and have come back to se it only went up one percent. Then that one percent immediately goes back down once I remove it from the wireless charging platform. To make things worse, it actually loses charge if I just leave it on the platform with the screen on even a dim setting. I have tried charging my phone both with and without its protective case and I get the same results. I'm totally dissatisfied that I wasted my time with this inferior product.

I bought two of these. One for my LG cell phone and one for my Dexcom G6 Glucose Reader. Works Great on Both Products. Of course you need the chargers to work with these (other reviews). On both devices they work perfectly and charge in good time. One piece of advice though (and very important) is that these are the short lead (connector) type. This is great for my Dexcom Reader which is very small. It's perfect for that. But on my LG cell phone it's definitely shorter than best fit. Though any size works, on a larger device (cell phone) it is important to buy the long type. Hope this helps.

Install wasn't that hard. It does require the phone charging port. What I found is that putting the receiver on the phone case with the protective case over it, the charging base magnetic field isn't strong enough to go through the protective case. The other issue, without the protective case on, is that the alignment to the base has to be spot on or it doesn't charge the phone. It may work for certain folks but not so much for me.

Works as intended. Plug and play. I don't have to worry about finding cords or wearing out the port from constant plugging and unplugging. Hopefully an investment in the longevity of my phone.

It installed easily (added some glue to the back side to attach it to the phone) and works. Charges, but not super quickly. Not too slow either, though.
