For picking up small parts it's ideal. The risk of 'pinging' with tweezers is a thing of the past with this. Two ended with different sized 'pads'.

I don’t know how I managed without this. It’s so good at picking up teeny tiny bits. It just makes things so much easier. Today I was putting fake hundreds and thousands on to paper cupcake card embellishments and it was invaluable. I didn’t drop one. If you are fed up of tiny gems or embellishments rolling away then you need one of these. Worth every penny.

This pick up tool is fine but not quite as sticky as I wanted. It does the job reasonably well.

Thanks to all who responded to my question as I am a papercrafter. I used this today to apply tiny pieces of card to a project and this pick up tool worked a treat. I see there are comments as to it losing its stickiness. - well I suppose time will tell on that, but for first use excellent. I could pick up the small pieces add the glue and attach to the project. Don’t just focus on model makers there are other crafters out there!

Both ends lost their stickiness after being used about a dozen times. No instructions provided on how to restore the stickiness, so tried some suggestions from the web (washing with soapy warm water, cleaning dust off with sticky tape etc) but none worked. So it was useless after less than a day's use.

Great purchase

Unfortunately the silicon tips separated from the tool quickly making it pretty useless. Perhaps I was just unlucky or was using it wrong!

Nice length, but not very sticky have resorted to using Sticky Tac on the end
