Good quality with a minor issue. Not a deal breaker though m.
Very heavy duty base a the threaded rod is thick and long. My only complaint is that I haven’t been able to get the rod out since the first time I screwed into the base with only my hands so it’s stayed that position since the initial assembly. It would be nice if I could tear down when I’m not using it for easy storage as is now, I just store it in my shower when I’m not using it

This has to be the best lab stand ever! I didn't think you could find products made from quality cast iron anymore; that's from the days of my grandparents. I have never wanted to write a good review more than I do for this product, the maker should be blessed eternally!

Rod did not arrive with base
The rod never arrived with the base of the product.

Heavy rod and base
This has a heavy base. Not a flimsy pressed steel base. I use this as a spotting scope stand and am very pleased with the quality.

Great product - but 2 / 3 of my packages were missing the rod!
Buyer beware! The first stand I ordered was beautiful - it's sturdy and nice quality, so I ordered another one. The second one came in the same box but WITHOUT THE ROD! Amazon kindly shipped a replacement when I notified them. The replacement was ALSO MISSING THE ROD! So now I'm 2/3rd of the stands I've received are missing have to be returned...this seller is either scamming us or has horrible QA - stay away!
