We use these steps with our VW T6.1 campervan and were bought to replace a broken set of plastic steps. In use, these steel steps are robust, stable and capable of supporting 150 kg. The legs lock into place and fold easily which makes them safe to use and compact enough to store in the van. I’ve seen many motorhome and campervan owners using these steps which suggests they’re a popular choice amongst the motor-caravanning community.

This is an early review, I only just received the step so the durability remains to be seen- I will update if anything changes.I purchased this step for my camper van, my wife struggles to climb the high step with her dodgy knees. The step needed to be compact and foldable owing to available space and it needed to be tough- we've previously had two of the plastic foldable steps that can be commonly found on Amazon- I accidentally reversed over the first one, the second broke within a month of use, the quality had apparently deteriorated.The reviews for this metal step were good so I took the plunge. It is indeed compact, more so than the plastic version, it folds up neatly and the legs sit completely flush. They also remain folded shut, locked in place by a simple spring-loaded pin mechanism. They lock open in this same way with a reassuring click and visual confirmation that they're ready to use.The welding looks sufficient but only a long term test will reveal. I suspect this will be the Achilles heel based on experience.So far I'm happy. It's getting well used and I shall report back if things change.Update: Almost one month of ownership now and this step gets used and abused every single day. As you can see from my update photo, it's thick with mud! We're parked on a private field and this summer has been a complete wash out, so the field is a quagmire, totally sodden underfoot. Despite this and despite getting battered ever day, this step has been outstanding. It doesn't flinch when you step on it, no creaks or groans (aside from my wife's knees!). This is a great product, I'm very happy with it.

Not exactly lightweight, but good and sturdy. Folds up nice and neatly. Bit fiddly pushing buttons in to fold.

Really good little step, very sturdy yet lightweight and so well made. Excellent value for money too. All that said I had to return it as despite checking it's dimensions prior to purchase, it wasn't quite the right height for what I needed it for.

Great step very sturdy and strong legs lock into place making it super safe when folded down very slim with carry handle would recommend 😁

Excellent step which I use with my motorhome it's not to heavy and as it folds up it's easy to store and it is very strong in use.

The item was ok for some people but not for me.I dided to keep for some not to high places.

Compact, folds flat for easy storage and seems strong enough to do the job.

Pour mon utilisation personnelle, un peu particulière, il est parfait. Ayant des problèmes de mobilités, et ma voiture étant un peu haute , je ne peux pas suffisamment lever ma jambe pour y monter. Il me sert donc de marche-pieds. Ainsi j'ai moins à lever ma jambe pour m'introduire dans ma voiture. Ceci dit, ses 4 pieds rabattables et son anse de transport sont très pratiques pour un transport facile d'autant plus qu'il n'est pas lourd. C'est un bon article que l'on peut recommander.

Es muy util para subir pasajeros al vehículo con ciertas dificultades. Tiene el "pero" del desplegado que cuesta un poco y no se puede forzar pues las chapas se doblan... pero una vez abierto aguanta muy bien y es muy estable.
