Fits perfect and functions as it should. Serves as a great replacement bulb.

Replacement for Surefire G2 with P60 Lamp
I bought this to replace the Surefire P60 Lamp (65 lumens) that originally came with my Surefire G2 flashlight. The product description says "If use with Surefire, please must remove outer (large) spring from base of lamp." I missed this at first, but after following the directions, it fit great. It makes a huge difference in brightness. Hard to say if its truly 1200 lumens, but it is night/day difference (pun intended) from what I had. If the battery life were the same I'd be happy, but the LED should be more efficient. For what it's worth, I'm using two Surefire 123A batteries. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Didn't work or fit properly.
Have a P60, didn't work or fit properly. Returned.

It works
Grateful to find something that works with Surefire flashlight. Was having trouble with the cost of Surefire lamp replacement and not lasting very long. Last one they sent didn't work at all. I followed directions and removed outer coil to fit. It works and is bright. Happy with purchase.

Get your old light working again.
Very nice and easy upgrade for your old Surefire flashlight much brighter then the original bulb and battery life is a whole lot better also. If your original bulb is burned out would highly recommend replacing with this led version.

It’s a great upgrade to our lights which another family member really likes as well. Significantly more power on our high end lights, while saving money on batteries too. A win, win, and still going strong after many drops.

Great fit
Brought my old surefire back to life

Very bright.
I bought this to replace the special lamp in a 30 year old plasma cutter. It runs very hot but the casing is aluminum and it acts as a great heat sink. The light is so bright that the torch even follows the original pencil traces that were drawn when making the patterns. Nice light!
