My vehicles don't get driven a lot and every time you start a vehicle it needs to be driven a while to replace the charge used by starting the engine so if you just make short quick trips every few days then your battery will eventually fail especially in severe cold winter months so I keep the smart cable sticking out the front of the grill to see when the battery starts dropping below optimal charge state and it's easy to see even from a few yards away because green alone is good, green and red together is signs your battery is lower then optimal charge so all you do is plug in the charger/maintainer/conditioner and it works by itself to maintain and condition your battery, and it works out great because I alternate between the two vehicles whenever one starts to drop in voltage levels so these are a must for lightly used or rarely used vehicles to keep you informed without having to pop open the hood and take voltage readings with a meter because the actual charger maintainer even tells you current voltage going into the battery or existing charge and the smart cable bridges the gapBC

Works as advertised. I have had this hooked up to a solar charger and a jet ski battery. I can monitor the charge of the battery just by visual inspection, which was the aim. I will hook this up to a jet ski, and use the LEDs to make sure the ski is ready to go out without needing to be charged.

It is what it says it is, it has the gold cabling and easy connection with fuse.
