Great for beginners like me!
I'm a total newbie when it comes to drums and I purchased this primarily for self entertainment. It was pretty easy to assemble, although it did take me a few minutes to figure out there was a tool that was included that I was supposed to be using to assemble the unit. The instructions could have been better written. If you have had to assemble anything just by looking at pictures rather than reading written steps you shouldn't have much trouble. Also when you are assembling it don't worry too much about tightening every pad into place as you will more than likely adjust them when you start to play with it. The main thing to keep in mind is to get the frame good and tight. The pads are very durable I have been bangign away on the heads and they still look new. I've been using it for little over a week, several hours a day. The ability to position the heads and cymbals is great. Once you start really getting into it you will appreciate the fact that they are easily adjustable. Connecting the cables to the pads is a piece of cake and the cables are labeled and correct lengths so not much in the way of confusion as the cables won't reach the wrong pad. might be nice to include some straps or ties to arrange the cables nice and neat. The bass drum pedal did require a little time to understand how it is supposed to go together. My bass drum pedal came apart due to a screw on the bottom that controls the responsiveness of the pedal. I just tightened it back up and problem was solved. The bass pedal and hi hat pedals are nice and secure and won't move very easily on carpet. I haven't used them on my hardwood floors and I doubt I will as the hi-hat pedal has velcros strips on the bottom that will scratch hardwood. The bass drum pedal has pointed screws that are designed to dig into carpet to maintains position, so probably not a good idea to use on hardwood floors. The throne was a pain in the rump to assemble it would have been much easier if it had come with the tool to loosen and tighten the keyed screw/bolts. Being the newbie that I was, I didn't know that it required a special tool so I grabbed the closest set of pliers I could find. The sounds are great and to my untrained ear sound just like the real thing. There are a lot of sounds to choose from and the play along tracks are pretty cool , I like tracks 4 and 12 the best! Its pretty easy to pick up basic drumming techniques although getting the hand to foot coordination was a bit of a challenge, but like everything else will take a little practice...don't give up! I got the headphone bundle and am very pleased with the headphones. The volume of the unit is more than adequate. Even though it is not a true drum set it can still be loud to others as you are still banging on it. I purchased a aux cable to use with my cell phone and youtube to play along with actual songs, it works great!! The first song I started to play is "Down with the sickness" Oma gurrr!! It's awesome! Now for the couple things that I did find that could be improved. I imagine these things are not a problem in higher end sets. I did encounter a small amount of buzzing from the snare drum pad, but it's not that bad, and It comes and goes depending on what device (cell phone or mp3 player) I have connected to it. Tapping on the frame will trigger unwanted drum sounds from nearby pads or cymbals, but you aren't supposed to be drumming on the frame so not a big deal. The Hi Hat pedal and cymbal seemed to sometimes have a out of sync response as sometimes I would have the pedal pressed down and the hi hat would still sound like it was in the open position, could also be user error. That's it! I am really enjoying this set and I plan to keep practicing with it. I'm glad I chose this set and I think you will be too! Here's a tip if you want to show off your newly acquired drumming skills invest in a stereo aux cable splitter so you can have more than one set of headphones connected at once. This will allow you and a buddy to hear your drumming at the same time. Unless you plan on purchasing an external speaker.

It's decent for starting out, but not a long term set
This was my first electronic drum set and purchased it because the price was low enough to to not be out of too much if it was a bad decision. I have replaced the snare drum after a month or playing. After a month the surface tension was lost and the snare surface sunk in about 1/4 inch. After replacing it, the same thing happened to the replacement snare. This is under normal playing conditions no excessive beating of the drums. You really should not use this for rudiment training, I have a training pad next to my kit for rudiment warm-up. This snare does not offer great wristing ability, especially after a month of playing. Pros: Decent samples Customization Drum Set (you can mix drums from the different kits) Includes kick pedal Impact sensitive Easy setup Aux Input for phone or mp3 player Lots of downloadable software from manufacturer's website. Responsive customer service Cons: Snare is not durable, Rebound last for about 8 hours of play then sinks in about 1/4 inch. High Cross Talk No Cymbal Choking Not expandable It's good for starting out, but not a keeper. You get what you pay for. I will be moving to a brand with mesh heads in a few months as I most likely will need to. 26-NOV-2017: Update. After on of the Toms bevame unresponsive and Snare became unplayable the hihat developed unreliable response I gave up with it and replaced it with a Roland TD-50 and just transferred the kick pedal over. I also discovered that the Bheringer pads and cymbals work with my Roland kit which had 4-5 aux trigger inputs so available so I kept the Beringer pads and cymbols to add on a cowbell, a splash and a china. So it wasn't a total loss.

Perfect for home recording. Worth more than what i paid for sure
I played drums for almost 20 years and always stayed away from electronic drums due to my "punk rock ethics." After a few years away from drumming and a kid, i stopped gigging and took up recording at home. I no longer had a kit and didn't have the time/money for a practice space. Instead of ticking off my neighbors, i figured i would give this kit a shot. When i opened it i was slightly disappointed. It looked short and felt lightweight, but then i got it set up and started playing. The drums sound was amazing. After 10 minutes of fiddling with the settings i got it to sound like a real kit. The bounce back feels like a real drum kit. I loved that i could swap sounds from multiple kits to create my own. Sine i used to only use a 4 piece i was able to turn the second tom into a ride and the ride into a different crash. After getting it hooked up i spent 4 hours thats night just playing. I might not recommend this for someone who wants to use it playing out. Get a real kit for that. But for something to use at home, away from the practice space, this was well worth the money.

The default sounds arent great, but if you have protools and need a solution for recording, these work fine. It is annoying how the snare keeps getting loose from mild drumming, but it comes with the territory of a cheap electronic kit.

Poor sound from bass and snare out of the box
I received this kit yesterday and set it up last night. I am getting very poor sound from the kick bass and from the snare. I checked all of the connections and restarted the device but did not hear any improvements. When I press the buttons on the computer I hear perfect sounding bass and snare, when I hit the pads I don't hear much. I will be reaching out to Behringer to see if they can help me to fix this. Not a great way to start out!

A solid kit... I think.
I'm an inexperienced drummer, having only played Rock Band years ago, and gotten mildly proficient with coordinating my limbs. But I'm otherwise an experienced guitarist, and I'm very aware of drum parts. I have no idea what to rate this yet. I've practiced a few times a day for several weeks, and I've noticed several weaknesses that the kit has, but I can't tell if they are intentional or not. - The kick drum needs to be lined up carefully. The beater should hit as close to the center as possible, or else it doesn't trigger with much volume. - The snare has the rim hit, which seems to be much quieter than other hits. I found eventually that the sensor for that seems to be only in one portion of the edge of the snare. And yet, the drum brain reports that it recognizes the hit. - The hi-hat pedal is a mystery to me. The triggering sound is nice. Hitting the open hi-hat and choking it with the pedal is great. But if I try to play a beat like the one for Be My Baby, once I reach the point where the hi-hat pedal is playing every quarter note, the pedal can't keep up with it. It looks like it uses a magnetic trigger, and sometimes I can get it to trigger fast enough if I move my foot completely off the pedal and push back on fast. - There are volume issues. Some drums are drastically louder than others. I've been running these through an amp that allows me to push some EQing, which does help. But there's a huge volume difference between the floor tom and the bass drum. However, the pads actually feel very nice. They're just rubbery enough that there's a nice little rebound, but they don't feel sticky at all. The pedals are designed well enough that I haven't had problems with them sliding around. The frame is very adjustable, which does help a lot. It's good for getting my feet wet, but it does leave me wondering if I should have put more money into this.

Great solution!
I bought this for my 11 year old son who was just starting to play. It's the perfect set for a student. The metronome and the patterns in the software are great teachers. The set-up was easy. During the first week, we tweaked the adjustments so that the fit was right. I'm a saxophone player, but I find myself playing the kit a little each day. You might be able to use these for a gig depending on the size of the room and the instrumentation. That said, I think the strengths in this product are for learning and practicing. I know plenty of drummers who live in small apartments where they can only practice certain times of the day. While the feel and sensitivity is not what you get from a real kit, this could be an excellent practice solution.

Cheap, and not made to last.
Worked fine for the first few weeks, then the hi hat control started getting really shotty. The snare pads started wearing down, and the hi hat straight up broke after a couple of months.

Buena calidad
El producto es muy bueno, los arneses embonan perfectamente, viene con un par de baquetas. Lamentablemente no viene un banco incluido, por lo que de recién instalada no la pudimos usar. El producto lo usamos para mi hijo de 9 años y le va perfecto.
