Really like the looks, the sounds, and the price
The C8 arrived in a box much heavier than I was expecting, and I saw why when I opened it, as there is literally couple of inches of wood under the turntable platter. It is built very well, and took only 5 or 10 minutes to set-up. I’ll admit I bought it mostly for looks, but I love the way it sounds as well. I’ve been through a pretty big mix of my music in the last couple of weeks, and it’s easy to set-up and operate. I actually purchased this with the “matching” Crosley powered Bluetooth speakers, and will review those separately. They match the system perfectly, and if you need Bluetooth, they work great. I almost didn’t order this because it didn’t have Bluetooth, but ended up getting it in the speakers and I like it. We’ve ended up using the Bluetooth more than the turntable, as my daughter likes to stream her phone through it. If you do switch quite a bit between 45 and LP records, you’ll like the easy switch they mounted on the front. I have boxes of 45s I’m working on getting through, and play great on the turntable. Five stars all-around from me!

Everything I was looking for in a turntable
I got this player from the seller on amazon called Retrovisions. They are legit sent me a new turntable and it was packaged well. I was looking for a turntable that had an adjustable tonearm, Audio Technica cartridge, heavy wood turntable, aluminum tonearm, metal and wood parts and an aluminum platter with a belt and this checked all the boxes. You will need speakers you can get them separate I recommend Edifier to go with this turntable. The speakers that are bundled do not have treble and bass control and I had to have that. That's why I got the turntable only. This has a good cartridge and sound. Look at the video on YouTube with Record-ology type in crosley c8; if you're unfamiliar with balancing a tonearm and putting it together its a really helpful video. It also has some cables that come with it rca to 3.5mm jack and regular rca cables. The player is working fine for now we will see how it goes will update later. Hope this review helped you.

Great For The Price
At $200 or less, this is a great turntable. I highly suspect that this turntable is actually made by Fluance, contracted by Crosley. If you compare it to Fluance's line of turntables, they are extremely similar. The main difference is, the Crosley C8 at $200 is better than the Fluance RT80 at $200. The crosley C8 has features you can find on not just the RT80, but RT81 and even RT82. You are basically getting an RT80 with RT81 and RT82 features for the same exact price. It's a great bargain. The sound is great, the counter balance and set up is fairly easy (there are videos on youtube on how to set up the Crosley C8), and the look of the thing rocks. I have this hooked up to my stereo Elac Debut 2.0 6.2s, and the sound is way better than my old vintage turntable. All in all I recommend it. Amazing beginner turntable for the price. Everything you need to start spinning records. Get it.

Excellent sound without breaking the bank.
If you are just starting to listen to vinyls or are just a season audiophile this turntable will not disappoint. I started to listen to vinyls again and did a lot of research looking for a turntable that would sound great without breaking my bank and Im glad that I decided on the C8. Boy was I surprise as to the quality of the sound and the quality of the product. The C8 looks better and sound better that some of the more expensive turntables. It doesn't have the auto shutoff that some other turntables have but not a deal breaker for me (sound quality is). The RPM's were spot on right out of the box...thanks Crosley for the great workmanship. I waited a few months before deciding to post a review cause I wanted to make sure I actually used the product on different albums with different music genres. My C8 is combine with my Bose sound bar and the sound is excellent. I did have to ground the turntable because I was getting a humming sound once in a while.(feedback).

Very similar to a Fluance RT80
The Crosley C8 seems like a rebadged Fluance RT80 with a different tonearm and a couple added features, and for less money. If you’re eyeing the Fluance model as an entry level sub-$200 turntable, just choose whichever one is less expensive at that moment. They’re both fantastic turntables so in this case don’t shy away from the Crosley name if it’s cheaper when you look to buy. I was going to put an AT3652 cartridge on it to upgrade the needle, but honestly this AT3600L sounds REALLY good on my speakers and I’m happy with it. I don’t see a need to upgrade from here since I only really do casual listening but for those purposes it’s phenomenal sounding. One caveat - it’s a fully manual turntable. This means you can swap and upgrade parts easily so you get more of an upgrade path, but the downside is there’s no auto stop or auto return so you need to be ready to stop your record right when it ends. It’s a tradeoff, so take that as you will and make an educated decision with that known. I would recommend this turntable to anyone looking for a seriously good sounding system for casual listening, who’s also looking to stay under $200 like I was. I’m really impressed by the warmth and fullness to the sound from the included AT3600L too.

It's Good, Big, But Good
I'll admit I'm still fairly new to vinyls. This is the second record player I've bought: first turn table. I started with a suitcase player and now I'm here. The Good Stupid easy to set up. The belt scared me, but that is probably because I have the tendency to as my family says "Hulk out" on things and accidentally break stuff. It's a very attractive player, looks great in my space. There are some really good components in this turntable for the price. The adjustable tone arm is great and works at helping preserve the quality of my vinyl and a surprising feature in this price range/class of turntable. The Audio Technica stylus is surprisingly premium a budget turntable. The Bad God is it huge. It's freaking massive. I had to rearrange my whole room and buy a new piece of furniture to hold it. If I had fully understood how large this turntable is I would have bought a different turntable. The lid takes up a ton of room. So to open it I have to have almost 6" between it and the wall. And no I can't use it without the lid because I live in a glacial valley at the convergence of two rivers fed by glaciers so everything that stands still for two and a half seconds has a thin layer of dust on it. It's about 18" wide and like 16" deep and most of that space is to accommodate the external belt drive and let me tell you I could live without that little feature because I don't understand why you'd do that in the first place. The Meh There is no Bluetooth feature. At this point in this price range every other company (even Crosley) has this feature built in. It's not like that big of a deal, but it is a pretty big miss. Not life and death and I do love the Crosley Bookshelf speakers I have and they look great as a set, but still would be nice to use it with my Bose soundbar or my JBL Flip 5s I have. But again it's not enough to make me hate it and frankly it's kinda fun to have dedicated speakers for it. The size is why I bumped it down a star. I'd honestly give it 4.5 stars. It does what it say on the tin and looks great doing it so can't be unhappy with it.

Best value for the price.
I would like to say that this turn table is very nice and easy to use. I have bought several brands and so far this one is the best. First use, we played it for about 4 hours with several albums that were over 40 years old. It didn’t falter once, even on worn vinyl it did great. I would buy another one in a heart beat. I understand it is American made and a quality product. 5 stars.

The Good the bad and the ugly
The Good: This is honestly a decent sounding beginner record player with some nice features, and it was relatively easy to put together. I really like that it offers both line out and phono output. it’s very straightforward and flexible depending on what kind of setup you’re running. The Bad: While the sound quality itself is good, the actual mechanism (belt, motor, etc.) is louder than expected. You can hear a faint mechanical low hum as it revolves coming through the speakers when it’s running. It’s not unbearable, but it is noticeable. There are also some odd design choices, like the speed micro-adjustment screws and the floating ground, that are not explained anywhere in the manual, which can be confusing for beginners. The Ugly: Quality control appears to be a serious issue. After troubleshooting extensively, I experienced extremely loud static that changed whenever the tonearm or any metal part was touched. I initially assumed this was a grounding issue on my end and spent additional money on new RCA cables and a separate phono preamp, only to determine the problem appears to be inside the tonearm itself. There seems to be a shielding or grounding fault in the arm or head assembly that causes constant, brutal static. I contacted Crosley support to try to resolve this or request a replacement, but after multiple days I’ve received no response. At this point, between the hardware issue and lack of support, I can’t recommend this unit despite its good sound and feature set.
