Install a pair of Rhinodillos between your tire and tube to prevent flat tires. Each roll of 26x2" liners weigh 95g. That's 10% lighter than a regular brown Mr. Tuffy. The most important: New formula to create a super tough silver layer that is up to 2 times more thorn resistant than material used by previous liners. Has been independent lab tested against competitors - see additional images. 9 sizes to fit: Mountain Bikes, Road Bikes, Cross Bikes, Commuters, BMX, Cruisers, & 29r's.

Good product, yellow ends are terrible.
I'm a prior user of the older rhinodillos, so I know from experience that even though nothing can protect your tubes 100%, these things can reduce tube changes from 2-3 times a month to 1-2 times per year.We use them on our stroller, and for that application I would recommend buying one width up from what you need since the most protective area is in the center, they stay in place better when putting the wheel back on, and you won't notice any weight penalty the way some people with sports bikes claim to be able to.The enlarged packaging method really helps makes installation easier vs the old tight-rolled packaging, but here are the reasons I am taking off two stars:1) The main protective material should go to the edge.2) These new yellow ends are a total joke (see picture). Right out of the box they were poorly glued, raised up, and coming off. They would easily have done more damage to the tubes than removing them. Further, all that is needed to protect the tubes is to take a dremel or similar and grind the hard edges down on the ends -- something I guess is either too hard to do during manufacture, or not as marketable as a half-assed glued on yellow thing.A great product that I would recommend, other than the yellow end gimmick which I would recommend customizing.

These GAVE me 4 flat tires!
These have CAUSED 4 flat tires! I ordered two sets of these (4 total individual liners), and they worked great at first, but after using them for a bit, I can see there is a major flaw with the design: There is a yellow piece of rubber attached to the ends of these. I'm assuming this is somehow supposed to help prevent flats caused by abrasion of the end of the liner. One of these liners is on my wife's bike, and after riding for maybe only 100 miles, she got a flat tire. I carefully took the tube out, marking where the tube/tire/rim line up so I could trace the cause, and found that there is a small section of hard glue sticking out from where the yellow rubber is glued to the tire liner (see picture). This had rubbed against the tube and caused a puncture. On my bike, the somewhat opposite problem occurred, where the yellow rubber piece fell off of the liner, exposing the razor sharp edge of the puncture proof material underneath. This also rubbed against the tube and caused a puncture. I was less observant in this case, so it took me THREE flat tires over the course of a few weeks before I realized that these liners were the CAUSE, not the solution, for my chronic flat tires. Unless the design is fixed to eliminate these issues, I would never buy these liners again. I bought some Panaracer Pasella PT tires for my commuter bike instead. Not sure yet what I will do with my wife's bike... I don't want to risk getting occasional 'real' flats from the road, but I also don't want to get GUARANTEED flats by putting these liners back in either...

Great idea POOR implementation
Great idea POOR implementation. To prevent friction with tube liners have "patent pending" Soft-Tips. Idea is GREAT but they are glued with cheap super cement glue which is very sharp itself (see photos) and will cause more troubles than end of liners itself. As well they are quite thick. I had to work with paper cutter and knife to make "patent pending" :) solution to work. Made them thin, removed glue, and cut liners endings to be rounded. After that they are exactly what I needed. Did all that fixing because they are really hard to punch and hope will prevent flat tires. I like them after that. Let see how they will be going.

Failed Cracked Liner Material Causes Flats
I do not like these liners because they have destroyed two of my tubes. After ~800mi of use, the blue plastic-like part of the liner cracked and formed a hard sharp plastic edge which sliced into my tube. My tube then rapidly deflated, while I was riding. Not a good situation.

bummer
As noted in other reviews these actually cause flats where the yellow tab rubs on your tire. I tried cutting the tab off, and got another flat where the liner overlapped. I tried rounding the edge and got a third flat where it rubbed. While they do feel like they would be great at stopping puncture flats (although not through the sidewall) they caused me way more flats than anything else I've run over on the road.

Good idea but quality control is greatly lacking.
Good idea but quality control is greatly lacking. Like many have found the yellow soft tips are glued on with some pretty hard nasty glue. The edge of the strip is glued and produces a sharp edge. I guarantee that it will produce a flat in, well, nothing flat. I worked on the edge with a small emery board to try and smooth it out some. It still has me worried. I may work it over more with an exacto knife. I've seen rim tape with a small wrinkle or tear a lot smaller than this produce a flat. I would also suggest powdering your tubes as well - this is good advice anyway, it may just save you from the liner pinching the tube.I've read a few other reviews that state they had to have the liners replaced by the manufacturer because of a batch of bad glue. I am forced to wonder if I got one of that batch, even having purchased mine months after the other posters mentioning it. It makes me wonder if the manufacturer decided to just replace the faulty liners when users complained rather than recall the bad batch.EDIT: I found the best tool to ease the edge where the Soft-Tip is glued is a cuticle trimmer. This is a tool that people use to gently cut the cuticles on their fingernails. I gentle cut away the sharp edge where the tip is glued and sanded it off even more smoothly with an emery board. Now for installation. If your tires are at all hard to install normally, be prepared to have further problems getting these liners in too. The narrower the tires the harder it is to install these. Stuffing the liner in under the tubes and keeping the liner centered on the tire is an exercise in aggravation, Getting the liner in is not so hard, getting it fully UNDER the tube and centered on the tire rather than riding up the sidewall is the big.issue. Be prepared for some sore fingers and bloody thumb nails trying to jam the liner back in the center when trying to seat the open side of the tire. I just hope I got it reasonably .centered. As others have pointed out some adhesive backing would ensure proper placement.

Caused a flat!
Lasted a few months and then caused a flat. I have these on 2 bikes and am unhappy with them. I run 50 pounds of air and have a good quality tire on my hybrid.

Limited effectiveness.
Lasted about 10 minutes before another thorn puncture. The thorn penetrated just to the side of the liner.

Can Cause Flats
Purchased set Nov. 2017. Put several thousand miles on them. Started getting flats everyride. After new tires, new tubes, new rim strips, still getting flats.

Seem good. Who knows if tire liners really work
Seem good. Who knows if tire liners really work. I like the yellow tabs seems like a good idea, and I used a sanding block to thin/taper the yellow tabs a bit along the edges.

Took too long to realize that this is junk
Absolute garbage. Always used Mr. Tuffy but for some reason game these a shot. After the 1st 2 flats, I thought it might be me and somehow installed it wrong.

Causes friction flats
These gave me two flats. The edges of the liner where they overlap rub against the tube when you bicycle. Flat one after a week.

I haven't had a flat since I installed these liners.
I haven't had a flat since I installed these liners. I live in Chico, CA. We have an abundance of long needle thistles that wreak havoc on bike tires.

High Quality product, very effective
Have installed these in many bikes over the years...great defense against the "goatheads" in my little town. Easy install, love 'em!

Folded Up Inside Tire While Riding! Caused Puncture.
