HP 2019 14" Laptop - Intel Core i3 - 8GB Memory - 128GB Solid State Drive - Ash Silver Keyboard Frame (14-CF0014DX)

Absolutely wonderful computer! Easy to set up! Works great! I bought this to replace another HP laptop. All I had to do with this laptop was turn off S-mode so I could install programs. This was super easy to do. I tried to install the Kaspersky anti virus that I have always used and a prompt came up to turn off S-mode, so I clicked the button, and it was as easy as that. I was able to download chrome and anything else I needed after that. The only reason I have a laptop is to do the schedule/check email for my job through the employee website. It does a great job for what I need it for. It takes about 5 seconds from when I press the power button until I’m scheduling employees from my employee website. I am thrilled with my purchase. Only thing is, this is not a touch screen, which I don’t really care about.

I love this laptop. I am using it mainly for my school work, I do full time classes at university and some are online. I needed something light and fast that I could travel with. If you are looking for something that is a powerhouse laptop at this price point you are fooling yourself. I am surprised I got this good of a deal on a laptop with a SSD in it. I bought this laptop with the mindset that I wanted something that was fast and could do a light work load because I have a powerhouse gaming Desktop PC at home, so I did not need something over the top in a laptop. I also wanted it to be light for travel. If you are looking for something that will run High FPS Games or Adobe products smoothly I 100% don't recommend this PC. This computer can handle simple games, I like to play My Time at Portia and it can run League of Legends, but most potatoes can, so it's not a gaming PC by any means, but you need to check the Games themselves and see the lowest setting you can run them on (Like you should if you are a gamer and wanting a new laptop). The size of the SSD is not the greatest, so if you do not use things like Google doc's that save to the cloud you will be wanting to get an external drive or an SD card. I believe you can install a HDD on here, but am unsure and do not plan to myself. I have a 1TB external drive for if I need to move files between computers and as a general rule of just having my files backed up to several places. Pros: - Boots up in seconds - Runs smooth for everyday light use, Internet Browsing, Watching Youtube, Hulu, Netflix - Plays some games that don't need high graphics cards or processors - SD card slot so I can extend storage if need be - Has an Ethernet Port and a HDMI port if you travel and want to put something on the bad hotel TV's Cons: - The Bloatware, so dumb and useless - No others right now Again my review is based on this product at this price point. I didn't expect this PC to run a graphics intensive Game, I would never expect a 400$ laptop to do so. I love that it came with an SSD, the storage is fine for my needs as I mainly use Google Docs for school and have an external drive. I have had no issues with the Wi-fi on the laptop as of yet, I do not expect to. If you are looking for a laptop that will offer you speed and be a great travel companion if you are in college or travel for work, you should get this one. Last thing I do recommend installing a fresh version of Windows 10 so you don't get the bloatware, or you can just uninstall the bloatware through Programs and Features. Up to you, but the bloatware you will get with almost any new Laptop.

I guess it has been a while since I upgraded. I am very satisfied with the speed for simple PC usage (video streaming). The system comes setup as Windows 10 S-Mode. The S mode will not let you install software that is not microsoft approved. No problem, when you try to install software that is NOT microsoft approved. The message window will give you an option to know more about turning off the S Mode. Just click on that and it will take you to a window that will allow you to turn off the S mode, then you will have regular windows 10, and you can install whatever software you want. I was able to install my office 360 and it seems to work just fine, not slow. Some folks complained about the speed of this little guy, I don't see any speed problems. My other older (5 years) PC is an HP, I have been and I still am happy with my Desktop. So I bought this little HP laptop for very little $ and like my Desktop HP PC I had this laptop completely setup in my 1st day. Usually there are problem setting up wireless printers , scanners and other computers on the network. Not with this little laptop.

I really hope I'm not going to jinx it by writing this review, but I came back to check when I ordered this computer and realizing that I've been using it for 6 years, 3 months, 20 days today, I felt like I was in a great spot to review it. After 6 years, some of the keys don't work anymore (most numbers except for 5 and 6 and the arrows), but that's the only thing that is broken! I use an external keyboard and it's a perfect way to keep using my computer. Needless to say, I'm VERY satisfied with this purchase. It has now cost me $0.16/day to use it. What a deal!

This has all the bells and whistles of a $1000 laptop. I love the SSD which powers up and gets you going. The only annoying thing which I discover buying computers on Amazon is the need, in this case, to call HP customer support because the computer went to dark screen as soon as it booted up. The problem: In the eleven months this set on a shelf, it missed several software updates. Fifteen minutes later all was good. And HP extended the warranty one year because only 14 days remained on the original. Thank you, HP. If you can stand such inconveniences, a really great deal.

I bought it 1 year ago and I'm not giving 5 starts because when I move the computer from one place to another in another level it gets stuck sometimes and needs to restart. Otherwise all good. (shipped to Australia)

Me gustó el color y lo liviana que es, el único detalle es que veo la pantalla muy débil, como que le falta más refuerzo a esa parte porque es la que abre y cierra todo el día en uso.

El producto llegó dañado, lo regresaron y en automático se emitió reembolso, hubiera esperado el cambio de producto para mejor servicio, la computadora realmente me urgía y ahora tengo que esperar 15 días más para recuperar mi dinero y poder comprar otra, pero ya no en Amazon. Pésimo servicio!
