Morrell Super Duper Field Point Bag Archery Target - for Compound Bows and Crossbows up to 400FPS

The Super Duper is exactly as advertised. At the initial unboxing, I was greatly satisfied with the quality. While the colors are a little faded the OVERALL QUALITY IS GREAT. I've only had in a week, butI HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PUT PLENTY OF 415FPS CROSSBOW BOLTS INTO THIS TARGET TO BE ABLE TO SAY IT IS A QUALITY PRODUCT. My cousin purchased a "bag" target a couple years ago and I swear that thing weighed 100lbs. His was great at stopping arrows. This one is probably half the mass of his and stops them just as good if not better. An ARROW PULLER IS UNNECESSARY. I have been using THE BLOCK for the last 10 years. Sometimes with THE BLOCK, it took so much force to wrench the arrows out that it was on the verge of frustrating. I'd have to flip the target on its side, step on the front of the target with one foot, and pull the arrow out hoping that I wouldn't snap the shaft or rip off a vane. This target makes ARROW REMOVAL A CINCH. Literally two fingers if you wanted. I grab it and give it a quick snatch, it seems to tear up the outer bag a little more if I go slow. I read somewhere that whenever the outer bag is shot up I should purchase a new bag $20 and drop the whole old bag in and it will be as good as new. An item that is engineered to last a decade+ (with new bags) and the quality i've witnessed so far ensures me I will get many happy seasons of shooting.

I bought this bag in September to shape up for an October hunt. The PROS it was inexpensive and did its job stopping my arrows at 304 fps.. the CONS it compresses easily, making arrows harder to pull out. The outer layer will start to separate in areas you shoot at alot, therefore making your arrows flop to the left or the right voiding any type of tuning. if left outside it will become very heavy with the rain putting extra stress on gromets. its absolutely a better reacting target when hung by both gromets than it is just sitting on the ground. Sun fade, after 2 months of Florida sun, the bag has completely faded. Red and white has almost disappeared, i now use bright duct tape squares on it to shoot at. OVERALL does what id expect for 60 bucks, If i buy another id defiantly NOT leave it outside or let it get wet AND hang it first shot.

I'm an archery beginner. Have a nice setup in my backyard. The only thing I don't like is how hard it is to remove the arrows from a standard target. This one, however, is a welcomed exception. The arrows come out extremely easily -- using one hand in fact. It's a strong package. I get the sense it will last quite a while. I would have liked a better target painted on it, but I just pin on one of my own paper targets, which works fine. I would highly recommend this products. It functions as intended and is a good value for the money.

My crossbow has 350fps power, so I've had issues with getting through an existing target, and this target stops it perfectly. It only goes in about 2/3 and stops so I can practise safely.
