Jesus please us, all you peeps that say they smell like rubber must have a marble missing. THESE ARE MAD OF RUBBER. What you think they are gonna smell like out of the box? Roses, Weed? I have made multiple purchases of these in different sizes. LOVE LOVE LOVE EM. I only went down to 10#s as I have plenty of X-Mark Olympic plates in the 5# & 2.5# range(yeah 2.5s for 5X5 Lifts. I will say that I am not a person who SLAMS the weight but when my set is over, I drop the 10s and no warp or issues...I have also bought multiple barbells from X-Mark. Cheers:)

Others have said that they have a strong odor. I don't find that they do. they have some odor, yes, but they certainly don't "stink up" my home gym. Don't let the odor reviews stop you from grabbing them. I bought the pair of 45 lb plates, which is all I needed. Maybe if you bought a huge set of these the odor might be an annoyance, but they say it will dissapate over time. I have found this to be true with other bumpers I own. I also like that they are made from recycled materials. So far so good. Not using for olympic lifts. Using for the first plate on deadlifts and barbell rowing from the ground.

I’ve had these for over a month now and they get the job done. I see complaints of odor, I mean they smell like tire rubber, what do you expect. I think it makes my garage smell like a gym so I don’t mind it. I really like the 10 pound plates. They are smaller in diameter but thicker which makes them more durable when dropped that the larger thin ones. I’ll probably end up buying more.

These work great. They smell a little but it does not smell up the whole garage.

Quality weights, durable, great price per lb. The texture makes them easier to pick up and move around, but pick up dirt better; which I didn't think about before using them.

The bumper plates are tough, have a low bounce and work great. They do have a slightly strong odor when you first receive them, but that is to be expected with the material they are made of. The odor goes away after you’ve had them a while.

So weights are expensive to begin with and its frustrating when the hole isn't big enough to fit on the bar and you have to fight the weight to go on. Plus 15 nor 35 are included in set and to by those weights are pretty expensive. Good thing is they haven't fallen apart yet.

I needed some bumper plates for doing deadlifts. I'm glad I found these. I like that they are made from recycled materials, and they seem to be held together well. They stink a bit, but they are rubber so that should be expected. All around great product!
