Must have for lifted & modified jeeps
I contacted Teraflex on the 2.2 vs 2.1 for my 2.5” lift with 35’s & spacers and I drive 90% on the road so they recommended the 2.1 for me since I didn’t do much off-roading. Tightened up the steering like a normal car now! Love it!

Taking no chances
Put this on my new 19 Jeep Wrangler JL after hearing about all the factory steering stabilizers failing. Bought this model as I could not see myself crawling under Jeep to change the adjustable version. Steering feels great

Did not perform well on 2020 Jeep Gladiator
This product is extremely well made. However, on my Gladiator the on center feel diminished greatly. Turning the wheel a couple of inches in either direction the vehicle would not track back to center require multiple corrections. The product website states: "Jeep-specific steering stabilizers deliver a properly weighted steering feel and consistent bi-directional turning for balanced and controlled side-to-side steering response and an equal return to center dynamics".This definitely was not my experience. Tereflex is a wonderful company and I regret I had this problem with one of their products.Amazon returned and refunded ASAP.

Solid and does what we expect it to

Different feel
I ended up returning this stabilizer. Not because the quality was bad, but I found out the hard way that these through-rod stabilizers just aren't for me. After putting on bigger tires, there was a dead spot in the steering and this actually seemed to make it worse. Do yourself a favor, if you've added a lift and larger tires, get a track bar brace that bolts to the steering box. This will sandwich the frame between the steering box and the brace, helping the frame stop flexing where the steering box bolts on. That's what causes the dead spot your steering wheel, and it helps keep your Jeep on the road straighter when you're at highway speed.

It meant for stock vehicle only
If you change your tie rod for a heavy duty one in the future, you will not able to use this set up. Yes but you have to order different mounts from teraflex and it’s headache. They don’t seems very pleased you modify and swap mounts yourself for different intended purposes..

Great Upgrade
If you have a 2021 you may need a different bolt. This is a reply from Teraflex:"Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, Jeep made a change to a bolt we reused in that kit so yes, you will need to purchase the old bolt as we haven't had ours come in quite yet. It is Mopar part #6510774AA"
