Love it!
Everything a beginner could want and need. My friend who has been working with guns for a number of years liked it so much he ordered one as well. Wood box a little cheap, but who cares, it is a nice looking box though.

Lots of assorted tools if you have several guns
Lots of assorted tools if you have several guns. I only have a shotgun but would like a rifle and/or pistol sometime, so I thought I would spend slightly more and get this kit instead of a dedicated shotgun one. Everything seems to be pretty decent, although, admittedly, I don't have a whole lot to compare it to. The case is wood but is pretty thin and cheap (the kit is cheap, so it is expected). Overall, a pretty good value. Oh, but get some more patches, you'll need 'em

Rod is not brass.
Description states that this kit contains a brass rod. It does not, it contains an aluminum rod.

Low Quality
This is a low-quality set.The rod pieces do not all screw together properly, leaving the rod pieces and various tips (the brushes and mops) able to be pulled off with almost no effort.The plastic patch-holder for rifles snapped at the base of the plastic the first time I used it to clean a .22 rifle. The patch-holder for shotguns is a little burlier and did survive its first use, but the adaptor used to adjust to the larger threads on it had the same issue as other tips - it could be pulled off the rod with slight force.Cleaning both the rifle and shotgun required that I push the rod through, take off whichever tip I was using, pull the rod out without the tip, put the tip back on and push rod through the barrel again. A back-and-forth scrubbing motion was not possible.The one positive thing I would say is that you do get a wide-range of brushes and mops. The quality is not high, but they seem to be put together well enough to not fall apart after using them.

This kit is garbage
This kit is bad from every point. The box is poorly constructed and the pieces do not stay in place. The rod will not stay screwed together and does come apart in the barrel. The small pieces also come off in the barrel. I am throwing this kit away for my safety.
