Megatainer Cubitainer is a flexible cube-shaped insert that made of low density polyethylene(LDPE). Designed to inflate or collapse as liquid is filled or dispensed. A reversible well on the top of the insert permits opening to be raised or depressed for pouring or storage. Much easier to maneuver than the 5 gallon container
I love the idea of this collapsible container. I want it to keep it for an emergency water supply in our travel trailer.I like its flexibility, ability to fold up and store fairly flat. The container is cube shaped and made of a low density plastic (LDPE) so it's squishy (technical term there). And water is heavy. 1.25 gallons weighs 10.43 pounds and that's excluding the container. But this smaller container is much easier to handle than its 5 gallon counterpart.I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't a plastic smell to the container. It comes with a plain screw-on cap and then also comes with a screw-on cap with a spigot on it. The spigot has a little cap on the end along with a stopcock nearest to the container.It came with a product sheet - written in English. This product sheet lists ALL kinds of uses this container can be used for and all kinds of substances that can be stored in it. Things I'd thought of - camping, fishing, picnics - to more exotic uses in food service, medical, and chemical applications.NOTE: I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

Awkward when full

The container is cube shaped and made of a low density plastic (LDPE) so it's squishy (technical term there). And water is heavy. Five gallons weighs 41.7 pounds and that's excluding the container. Try picking up a 40 pound square beach ball full of water and see how far you get without dropping it.So once this is filled, it is meant to stay in one place. Cut a hole in the side for the spigot and I'd have some rigidity for my megatainer and a handle to carry it around with...plus be able to take it out, empty it and store it flat. Like I said, I haven't tried this but think it would probably work.NOTE: I received this product in exchange for my honest review.
