Very nice product. It was a pain to install, but after that no problems. We have had it on since May and it is holding up as good as oem. We take the top off a few times a month. There are really no issues what so ever with this product. The material is a little lighter then oem but so close you would never know it was aftermarket. We are loving the tinted back windows, the oem were clear. I am the “guy” that wants good quality cheap and look for a week online before buying for the best deal and quality. Every group of friends has one of me.

I got this to replace my 10 year old stock soft top. The install took about an hour and a half doing it by myself. I let it sit in the sun to soften up and it went together great. The zippers on the windows were still pretty tight even after letting it soften up but I think that’s because the limiting straps on my frame are gone. Even though the zippers tight they still close up all the way. All in all I’m super happy with the top for the price.

I installed this top into my wife’s 2012 2 door jk. The installation went well although it’s says ONLY FOR 07-09 models which was my mistake I did not read the description of the item. The installation went well I had to modify a couple things but by all means i am very happy with this top. The only thing I have to say is the year this top is meant for should be place on the item header (smitybilt 07-09 soft top for Jeep Jku). With that being said I would recommend this top and if install is an issue there are videos on YouTube that you could look at. Instructions are very to the point and pics are dark.

I like the roof overall. It's nice having a new roof, that is solid and fits securely, rather than my 7 year old roof that wasn't. The back window is the exception to my overall satisfaction with the roof. I will need to find a lube for the zipper, but both top corners are the real problem area for zipping on or off the back window. I don't know what the final solution will be, but it's on now, and I'm happy with it, my only concern is, what will happen the first time I need to take the back window off, and I raise and lower the roof.

I was happy with the quality and price. HOWEVER One quirk and this may bother someone with OCD is: the original top had 4 straps you would attach to the rear bar (the one that goes over the back window skin) well this order of the Smittybilt top only had 3 where it clearly needed 4. So the individual on quality control that day missed ensuring that all 4 tabs were sewn into this product. Tsk tsk. Plus the back of the top hangs crooked.... not good workmanship at all. Would like to get my money back or at least someone to send product which has been QC'd to ensure accuracy of fit and that all factory design features are included. Does not meet my expectations at all for Smittybilt.

It wasn't too bad to install. I did it by myself and maybe took little over hour. The paper directions were a bit confusing but I found a video online and was able to install without any issues. Like other people the back window was the hardest to zipper,but my error was not positioning the back flaps correctly, I had them spread too far out. Overall, it was easy to install on 70 degree day, probably would have been easier if it was warmer out. Love the tinted windows, so clear and easy to see out of, my originals were clear with so many scratches. Still noisy when I drive, but like others say, it's a Jeep and it's a 2008! I had a leak at driver's side door with old top, hasn't rained yet so I'm not sure if this solved the issue. Nice top for the price.

After 2 years of owning this top, the zippers have failed on both sides of the rear window. It might be a good option as a placeholder top until one can afford a high quality top. If you are looking for something that is long lasting, spend more money and get one that is not based on the price point.

The quality is just as good as the original factory top. The instructions were not that helpful so pay close attention when removing the old one. I definitely needed help to install the new one. It would be best to do in a warmer climate, trying to stretch the top and zip up was difficult in the cold but I am extremely happy with the product. I did have 4 left over screws on a 2008 model, the part that screwed in on the under side of the front windows only had 2 spots to screw in instead of 4 on each side like the original. Overall, I would purchase again and recommend to anyone looking for replacement top. I wish I would have purchased a few years ago before my old one was leaking. I took it through a carwash and it held up great.

Arrived very quickly, good quality...took us about 2 hours to have it fully installed on our JK.

Produit semble bon, qualité du zip de la vitre arrière est nul. Il était brisée à son arrivée et je n’ai pas le choix de changer le zip. Sinon, Je n’ai pas le choix de payer le restocking ainsi que le shipping pour le renvoyer. Réellement déçu
