Good to learn

My husband and I know little-to-no french but both of our little ones are in French Immersion. Due to Covid, I've been struggling with ways to teach from home (not knowing french), so you can imagine my excitement when this book arrives and it has PRONUNCIATION for each word!!!!!!! I was so worried when helping my little girl (in Kindergarten) that I would pronounce things wrong and she would learn wrong from me! This is amazing!

FRENCH IS MY FIRST LANGUAGE. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn French. Essential vovabulary for everyday life is organized by theme. The important element about this book is that each word in French is presented with its "article" therefore indicates if the word is feminine or masculine. Gender of the words in French must be learned in order to understand and communicate.

What a great book. I love that there are pronunciations for the French words since I am not a French speaker myself.

honestly I thought for the price it would be much larger than what it is. Last week I ordered a pre-school work book for the same price and it was about four times as thick and twice as large. I know when it is French and English you pay a little more but I am still surprised at what you get for your money. It looks like a dollar store book.

We are in Quebec and it is very important to know french here. I bought this book for my 4 year old and we practice our words together. The book has lovely colourful illustrations and easy to read fonts. A good variety of subjects and words for a simple beginner's french book. The only problem I have with this book is there are just a few translations that are incorrect... I'm thinking it could be because it is France french rather than Canadian french...
