This stainless steel mortar and pesto is the best! It is much heavier than I anticipated, and very well-made. I have tried wood and stone, but the stainless steel definitely does the best job.

It is a bit small
they have 2 sizes, one is 10cm and the other is 12". I bought the bigger one. it is still small for me.

Looked strong but its hollow and weak from inside
I expected the pestle to be solid aluminium or iron.Just used for it for more than a month to mash some gingers and cinnamon and the front side used to crush the stuff broke down. I found that this is a hollow aluminium structure with some cement filling inside. It looked strong but is actually very weak.I would appreciate some assistance on this. Attached photos.
