Not as sharply as I would expect
They are a little dull when going thru 2 pieces of cotton

Plastic haded quilting pins
SO MUCH cheaper than the fabric store brands but seem to be exactly the same thing. Pins lay flat on material

There are better out there
Arrived in broken boxes & most are very dull. Wasn't able to pierce through cotton without damaging fabric. Will look for different manufacturers next time.

Good sewing pens
These pens are great quality for the price. They are thinner and are flexible so do have more bend than may be expected

some of the pins are not sharp and you have to push hard to poke it into the material.

You get what you pay for!
I know these pins would be not the top of the line but didn’t expect 200 of the 500 to be worthless. Out if the 5 boxes of pin sets both sets of primary colored heads are so dull that they would not even pierce thin cotton fabric. It was not just one or two I tried at least 20 pins in each of those boxes before I threw all 200 in the trash. The three sets of pastel head pins are at least sharp enough to use. On top of that a lot of pins were already bent when I pulled them out of the boxes. Overall they were too cheap for me to bother to return them and waste more time. Just beware if you choose!
