Armor Tumbled Brass Pocket Lighter

I've owned many zippos, ranging from the cheapest to ones that cost several hundred dollars. This is an outstanding zippo that offers the best value, since it's an inexpensive way to get the Armor case. The Armor zippo uses thicker metal. It was first introduced in 2005. You can feel the weight. It sounds better. The only tradeoff to getting it is that your original zippos will feel cheap and flimsy after you use this one. This zippo is no frills. It has a bead blasted surface, so even though it's brand new and very smooth, it looks like an heirloom that's been handed down across generations. This is nice, since if it falls on the ground and gets scratched up a little bit, then you won't have to worry, and it might actually enhance the character.

It’s what I expected quality zippo product. They should really design something that you know doesn’t evaporate you think after how many years now what are we talking 60 years plus after a week if you don’t use it, you don’t have a lighter anymore however it’s a good lighter feel quality texture. It’s good.

I've had a few drops and I KNOW there has been less damage to the case than the classic would have shown. Not recommended for "Zippo tricks" as the hinge isn't any beefier than the classic and the heavier lid will put more strain on the hinge. Feels better in the hand than the classic and the "ping" of snapping it open and closed is more pronounced as well.As far as "leaking" - it's a Zippo, it's meant to be used, daily, not sitting in a drawer or bug out bag. Get a butane lighter, or better yet a Bic, if you don't intend on using it. Yeah, you have to fill a Zippo every two or three days, you have to trim the wick, you have to replace the flint; and when you need it to light, it just DOES, the first time, every time.

I bought this lighter as a gift for a friend. After just 2–3 weeks of use, the flint popped out. I was really disappointed with the quality - it would be understandable if that happened after six months or a year, but not within the first month after giving it as a gift :(A bit disappointed overall. The design and look are great though - it really feels premium. Would I buy it again? Maybe yes, but probably together with an extra pack of flints. Still, the first impression left a negative feeling :(

this one i received did not line up. the tolerance were off. i had to do some home repairs to get it to line up

The lighter looks good and has good in hand feel, the quality is as expected from zippo but I feel like that the hing could have been stronger 🤷‍♂️ hing feels a little flimsy for the price as compared from that of a similarly priced zorro lighter.Overall the lighter is good 👍 and functions properly 🔥 (just keep an eye on the price because you can some times get a better price at official zippo India site)

Verkauft und versandt durch Amazon. Ich wollte ein günstiges Zippo, bin bei diesem hängen geblieben. Armor, in tumbled brass, Amazon hat mir bei der ersten Bestellung leider ein falsches geschickt, es war das normale aus Kupfer, aber auch original. Das zweite, war dann das, was ich eigentlich wollte, tumbled brass. Es ist ein Original, außen B 22 innen A 22. Mir gefällt dieses auch besser als diese gebürsteten Zippos. Nach meiner Bestellung, gab es das gleiche nochmals im Angebot. Ich habe sofort wieder zugeschlagen. Wo bekommt man auch ein Armor unter 30€ inklusive Versand...!? Somit besitze ich jetzt 2 Armor Zippos für den eigentlichen Preis von einem, das Zweite war D 22, C 22. Zur Lieferung und Versand, etwas problematisch, der erste angegebenene Liefertermin für mein bestelltes Zippo konnte leider durch Amazon nicht eingehalten werden, hat ein paar Tage länger gedauert. Sehe ich aber hinweg und hat sich gelohnt. Ich bin kein Zippo Sammler, habe zwar ein paar, habe nur nach einem günstigen Armor gesucht, und würde dieses den gebürsteten Zippos immer vorziehen. Die Verarbeitung ist gut, kein wackeln oder zu großes Spiel des Scharniers, der Innenteil sitzt passgenau, konnte daher wirklich nichts negatives an beiden Zippos feststellen. Wenn jemand nach einem wirklich günstigen Zippo sucht, kann man hier zugreifen...

I ordered a tumbled brass armor zippo and got exactly what I ordered. This lighter works perfectly and is very durable. The tumbled brass is a beautiful finish for a zippo lighter. I also love the brass insert. Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. Theses lighters will last a lifetime and if they don't you can get them fixed for free. You wont find a better lighter anywhere. I will be ordering it again soon as gifts for friends and family. I am very pleased this is the nicest lighter I have ever seen !
