Fluid Watercolor Blocks 4 in. x 6 in. Block

The media could not be loaded.  I haven’t painted in a very very long time.I just wanted something small & cheap to get back into painting in small steps and do some on-the-go/travel sketches. Also I liked the fact that book is blocked.This is good for a small on the go watercolor sketchbook. It fits right into my travel pouch along with my watercolor palettes, brushes, pens & pencils. Its only 15 sheets and 4”x6” so it’s not intimidating task to fill the pagesTexture of the paper is nice (cold-press) and has some weight to it, the paper can’t take a lot of water; it will start to warp. So if you like doing wet on wet techniques be careful of that.When I went back & forth with my eraser or brush none of the paper materials came up. Even though this is a blocked book I wish the paper was glued down on all sides due to the buckling of the paper and some of my sheets lifted right up.All in all I would buy another one

Sometimes my extra cash for art supplies is limited and I still need a good watercolor paper. Let's face it not all of my works of art are good enough for 30-100.00 packs of paper, I wish they were! This paper has worked out well for me many times! I like that the paper is fixed on two sides so that I do not have to stretch it to use it, I just paint right on the block of papers! I enjoy the results that I have gotten with the Fluid Easy Block papers. I love these watercolor blocks for keeping with my travel paints. I can sketch on them then do a wash. Perfect for having available on the go! I even have them in a couple sizes depending on what I want to carry. The 4x6 is perfect for keeping in the Field kit that I made for myself out of an old marker tin! Perfect thickness and the wax that connects the pages together is so satisfying to break when ripping your finished work out. Can't work on multiple works in this at the same time though unless you want to rip one out first. Perfect sizing and the paper quality is MWAH fantastic. Doesn't crease or scrunch up and easy to use.

I really like this block. It was small enough to keep in the watercolor kit that I carry in my bag and the paper is very nice. It's really handy to have it in a neat little block. So far, I've used it mostly to do color swatches for different watercolor sets- and it takes the multiple washes really well without the paper buckling or getting crumbly. I will definitely be purchasing this brand again in a larger size.

I got these to keep as a travel block so I have some WC paper available with my travel kit of Cotman paints. Works very nicely! These are glued on 2 sides which has positive and negative points. On the negative side, they do curl up because not all sides are tacked down, but they are much easier to separate off the sheet when it's dry because you can easily get in there to remove the page when it's complete. Just make sure it's dry first!!

Wonderful watercolor pad, the glued edges are great and prevent you from having to tape down your paper. Paper is thick and takes water and pigment well. Also very affordable but good quality!

Product came as expected. Works very well with my watercolors. Awesome texture and absorbency.

I wish they came as a stack instead of a block all stuck together. It is easy to bend them when I pull one of the block. But still awesome quality of paper
