Great modern stovetop.
Bought one in late 1/2024 after the one I purchased several years earlier stopped working. I use this stove top almost daily for almost everything. Tonight I made Lamb chops and they came out perfect. I also have a small pied a terre oven that I rarely use because this cooktop works so well for me. This one cooks on low to 400F I usually use 175 to 225. If I get busy doing something else it automatically turns off. I have a nice ceramic cook set and all the pieces work well on this stove and after using these for months on this Nuwave the pots and pans still look like new even on the bottoms. I actually like my pied a terre kitchen more than the large kitchen in my home. It gives me more control and I get great results virtually every time. I’m planning to buy one of another of these with the built in sensor during th sale. I have 7 and 8 yr old granddaughters who help me some in my kitchen and I don’t need to worry constantly that they will burn themselves because this only heats up when a pan is on the element and it covers the burner. I just need to be careful that the heated food doesn’t cause burns. Their NYC apt has a gas stove which can be a fire hazard. I’ve seen the induction units that can work anywhere under kitchen counters and would like to see this company produce one of these.

Why you should consider these!
I have 2 of these now. The other is a larger version. I cook...a lot. These units are great. Even though I'm by myself I can run 2 at the same time depending on the situation. The smaller one is for sous vide cooking and the larger one is for bigger situations if I'm cooking in bulk. The beauty of them is that I can set the temperature, set a time, and walk away. This works great for sous vide as it shuts off automatically so I never burn anything or over cook the proteins. Great for senior citizens who have possible memory issues. Also has a wattage setting for energy saving. Do your research but these were the best I could find for the price.

Good quality product can be excellent with improvements
Great product. Good quality. Can hear the fan whooshing sound but not annoying. However, suggest the following improvements to its maker: 1. Beeps are too loud. Needs a sound level adjustment so it is pet friendly 2. Timer can be more useful if we can change the default 2 hrs every time its switched on. It needs a save option. Its cumbersome to use and can use a Reset and "add 30 secs" buttons 3. Stage function needs a save option too. For instance, for cooking pasta, stage 1 can be 5 mins to boil water, stage 2 cook for 8 mins, stage 3 keep warm for 20 mins. This takes time to enter but it forgets the moment its turned off. So I don't bother using it. bummer.

Thumbs up on the Nuwave Flex Precision Induction Cooktop
I have been very happy with my Nuwave Cooktop. The induction part does take a little getting used to. Make sure you use only induction-ready cookware—it makes a difference. Also, make sure you don't have any other magnetic things on the counter near it. About a month after receiving the cooktop, some of the buttons went out on me and Nuwave replaced it immediately. I love the timer function and the flexibility on setting the temperature. The fan is a bit loud and takes some getting used to. But the noise also helps to remind me that it is still on. All in all, a useful extra burner or sole burner for a small apartment or dorm.

Works very well
I have an old gas stove which the top is starting to cave on. Rather than spending approx. $5000 to replace it, I found these to be the perfect solution.... I live alone & don't do serious cooking so various appliances do the job for me. This 3rd burner came as a set with a 2 burner unit & is great because I didn't have to do any electrical modifications. It would have been necessary for me to run a 220 line for the 4 burner units. 3 burners is plenty for me so that's a cost savings too. These units are easy to operate, easy to clean. I can use some of my existing stainless steel pots on them, although I purchased a small set of induction cookware just in case. Fits well on any countertop. The portability is great for traveling & makes it nice to save money on eating out all the time. This burner has its own carrying case.. The burners & pot get hot only when an item is cooking but is safer for curious pets than traditional burners. The temperatures are accurate. The unit heats quickly to the desired temperature & cools down quickly when not in use.. Easy to operate & clean.

Everyday and off grid down use
Very dependable plate!!! This is my fourth one because I have given them away during weather related outages, because they can step down in power. Solar power batteries can power them! The heat level is so easy to control because the response to control requests is instant like with gas. I love cooking with my cast iron and the plate is ideal. I can go outside and fry, saute, even bake with a cast iron cover. I have one I use and one in spare. This is the only one I would gift and have. Controls are easy and clear to uuse. In my book, anything else is second rate.

Temperature control, and cooking dishes, evenly.
This is the second one I purchased the last one lasted four years and worked perfectly until it didn’t. I tried the Amazon basic flat square model and it does not cook evenly so that’s why I decided to order another one. Temperature controls and even cooking is very important to me and I’ve never had a problem with their products before.

So sad, it's bad
I have happily used a NuWave cook top since 2013 but now I am completely off Nuwave products. My first NuWave lasted 5 years ....but that was good in my mind because I used it for almost every meal, every day. There are only two of us in the house and using the cooktop was more energy efficient than using the burners on an electric stove. In 2017 I replaced that NuWave cook top (it began serging power supply) with another one, the PIC with wattage controls (see photo). The problems with that one were: inaccurate temp control and a command panel cover that fell apart (photo #2)within a few weeks. The temp control ran the cook top way too hot but I learned to work around by cooking according to how the food was responding to the setting. I worked around the crappy control panel cover by covering the buttons with clear, heavy duty tape. All was going well until I killed the cooktop three weeks ago by having frying oil boil over and it ran into the internals. Fast forward to today. I reordered the same cooktop before Thanksgiving, it never arrived, Amazon sent a replacement and it arrived Dec 16th. Yay! BUT ... this morning (17th) I plugged it in and the central digit in the temperature read out was not lighted (photo #1). I went ahead and scrambled some eggs and the temp setting seemed to work accurately. There was the expected Eau de Beijing as it warmed up. So after contemplating the fact that this unit was clearly not given QA attention, I was concerned about WHAT ELSE? might be wrong with it. While the purchase price was reasonable, that overrode the idea that this unit would very possibly crap out on me at any moment. Or become dangerous. Or both. Finally, I do not want to go through a return and replace again, only to get another suspect product. Sorry, NuWave. It was nice while it lasted but you broke my heart when you gave up our relationship for a few more pennies in your own pocket. You didn't even ask if I would compromise and pay you enough to cover the cost of quality upkeep. At least now you won't also be breaking my pocket book. p.s. I show you in photos the bouquet of skillets you sent me in the past just so you will remember that we go way back.

Absolutely love this.
This is one of my best purchases. Up to now I have had to make do with a regular electric coil cooker. This has revolutionized my meal prep. It is quick, clean and very responsive to temp change. You can hear to fan inside, but it does not bother me at all. I use it with an induction burner mat (Silicone & fiberglass).

Easy to use and heats up fast
The best part about this inductive cooktop is the low to high preset buttons. It makes the cooking process easier because I don’t have to adjust the temperature from the lowest to high. It heats up the pan fairly quick and is space saving. I have been using this for more than 6 months with no issues. There are also three wattage settings which makes it energy efficient.

Super fast and energy efficient
Have used twice since receiving and blown away by power! Tinned baked beans were ready in just over 90 seconds ! Balsnaic mushrooms in approx 2.5 mins! Super impressed!

Best one.
Selectable power, I set it to 600w and my food not only won't burn, it cooks without sticking to the pressure cooker. The fan shuts down after use, unlike others that keep running. Customer service went out of their way to help me with a small issue. Highly recommended.

Works good
This product works good. I’ve had it now. A while couple of years never had no trouble with it. A great piece of equipment.
