Excellent hobby tool
Great tool, very preciseOnly issue I had, the arm was not square, pieces had a slight angle, squared it up and perfect.. I would buy again, hope I don't have to.

Great Tool, easy to setup and use.
Use for scale modeling. Mostly to assist with the building of dioramas. Easily get straight cuts on plastic rod and tubing.

Works very nicely
For model builders this is a dream come true, my only issue is that the blade can break easily on harder materials. It does come with an extra blade though.

Tried and true, simple and perfect for what it's made for.
Excellent! Great for very small stock. Go with the larger version if you want to cut anything bigger/tougher than a wooden coffee stirrer.

Five Stars
I can cut small projects with ease including my prescriptions that need to be cut in halve. Thanks

Mine was not fastened at 90 degrees
I use it to cut balsa wood for HO scale scratch-made buildings. The blade holder and the metal wood piece holder ("wall", called on a real miter saw) is not 90 degrees. Care was not taken when they were fastened to the flat brown wood plate. Basically, it gives very inaccurate cuts. Its off a couple degrees so you have to eyeball it and make adjustments. Its very annoying. See attached photo...a right angle ruler that's flush to the blade is not flush to the wall. If the 90 degree is off, all others angles (30, 45, 60) will be off. I plan to give it away or disassemble it and reset it to 90 on a new wood plate.

very small
so much smaller than my daughter wanted, she has learned to read the fine print. If you are working only on tiny projects this might be just what you need.

Small, limited adjustment and grossly overpriced. Find something else.
I pretty much knew what I was getting but you hold out hopes that for that amount of money the construction and quality would be a lot better than what you get. Cheap chip board base, cheap razor blade held by screws with no indexing, it is not truly square and limited adjustments. There is no place to safely store the cheap plastic angle not being used so it would be a prime candidate to get misplaced or lost. Overall it just feels cheaply made and no where close to the $43.00 price tag (Edit it's $96.00 oh please don't spend that amount on this). It may be made in America but it's not made very well and all I can figure out is someone is make some serious jack on it, as it's worth about $9.95 maybe $14.95 - 19.95 tops if it was truly square and the angle were metal and not plastic. The angle placement is very limited with little adjustment as far as lengths of what you could cut.I really should have sent it back but I got busy and let too much time pass, not worth the price I'd find something else. Highly disappointing.Edit over a tear later I've used it maybe 3 or 4 times and I scratch build models of a living so I build everyday, this POS hit the junk drawer and hasn't left.
