looms & weaves-Brindleberry / Tamarind Kudampuli/ Garcinia Cambogia/ Goraka Powder-250 Gm

I ordered this for my mom and she is quite happy with the purchase.1) The package was received on time and was packaged decently enough.2) The kumdampuli is quite good in quality and of the perfect size and has the desired smell and taste.3)This has worked really well with fish curry and other dishes as well.Overall we are happy with the purchase.

This is entirely what I expected. The quantity is very less though. Would have liked it a bit more.

Not that great ..it might not be the original one..

The kokum did not have good flavour as it had already been used once and then dried to be sold .I felt cheated as I didn't get the robust flavour you usually get from good quality kokum

The quality seems top notch. I use it as a substitute for Tamarind and it has worked well in most dishes so far. I read about its numerous health benefits and wanted to try it out and happy to report that its taste doesn't seem off and it blends well with most Indian dishes especially south Indian ones. A little goes a long way and it seems to be authentic without any chemicals or preservatives.

Good quality product,value 4 money , freshness retention package. Good 4 health. Grading average.not 💯% A size.

I have used couple of products from looms and weaves which are really great and of a very good quality. This one looks good but has a very smokey smell and when used in curry the entire dish gets the smell which makes the dish hard to consume. I am from Kerala and I know how these are dried. I kindly request the manufacturer to take much more caution when getting this dried with smoke by not letting the smoke hit directly on the product so as to avoid these kind of experience.

We use this at a quarter pod for two bowls and half pod for 4 bowls of daal.It really adds a great flavour. It's not overly tangy like imli or lemon. It's a little subtle and also adds a smoky flavour.
