I have 3 cats. Would I need to hide nine bowls?

Hi Depends if any of your cats are greedy and would eat the other cats food? Cats only have a stomach the size of a ping pong ball so don't need to eat large portions. Usually they hunt find a mice and eat the food then either sleep or play for a while before then hunting again. If you are worried you can put the cats into separate rooms to begin with and hid their food in that room. This is a superb product and a great way to feed your cats. What kind of opening do these mice have? Some of the pictures show 2 open ovals with a bump in the middle, others show a single opening with a slider

The ones I received are the newer version, so they have a slider to vary the difficulty. The set also comes with a training mouse which has several large holes in it.
