The Duck Song Hardcover – September 1, 2010

I couldn't count how many times my daughter and I have watched the Duck Song videos on YouTube since we first stumbled across them by accident, and when I saw there was a book available I decided to get it her for her 4th birthday. We've also read the book several times (illustrations by Forrest Whaley, the same guy that animated the YouTube videos) and she also really enjoys the CD that accompanies the book (songs by Brant Oden). I think my daughter's only complaint would be that she wishes the book was longer!If you have a son/daughter that's seen the YouTube videos and loves them, then I'd definitely recommend picking up this book for them.

We received the book in perfect condition. It was even larger and nicer than I expected. The cover is printed using high-end techniques and is just beautiful and very colorful. We haven't let our little one see it yet, because it's a Christmas present. However, I was too tempted, and let the Duck Song play once while he was in the room (he's 1 yr). Our son got very excited and looked all around the room for it and started dancing! I think he will be well amused! I highly recommend this book.Update: the battery died quickly. I wish it had lasted longer. Buy extra batteries too if you get this book.

I bought this book for my 17-month-old daughter after she demanded I play the YouTube video of this song over and over. I was very pleased with the book, very nice binding and quality pages. She squealed and laughed at the familiar song (which is in very good quality for a children's book-was not expecting that!). I was surprised this came with a full CD, I didn't notice that when I ordered. My daughter really enjoys all of the songs on there, and I find them not nearly as aggravating as a lot of children's cds out there.

I ordered this book for my daughter, for her birthday. She watched the video many times on YouTube and was thrilled to find out there was a book out about the video. It is a wonderful book. It is very colorful and easy for children of all ages to read and follow. It tells a funny little story. The book includes a CD with the actual Duck Song AND other songs by the author/singer. These songs are great for children and my daughter loved them. The book is also very cool in that it actually plays the Duck Song when you press a spot on the cover! My daughter loves the book!I also want to note that I had a very good experience with Flinders Press. I was a bit late in ordering the book and was afraid it wouldn't arrive in time for my daughter's birthday, so I wanted to get expedited shipping. Unfortunately, I missed that when I ordered it, so I left a message through Amazon. Later that morning I got an email from Flinders Press giving me their number and offering help to get expedited shipping. I called them and they were able to help me and I got the expedited shipping I needed and got the book in plenty of time. They were very helpful and provided excellent customer service!

I have a 4 yr old and an almost 2 yr old and they love this book. It's a whimsical story about a duck who goes up to the Lemonade Stand and only asks for grapes, it always makes the kids giggle. There is also a button on the front of the book that plays the song, so the kids can hear it along with the book. Its catchy and fun and easy to learn. Be prepared to hear the kids singing it over and over again after they learn it(which doesn't take long!).The book also came with a CD that has more songs on it. My kids love the songs "I gotta Pea", "I love U(It's a really great Letter)", "The HoneyBear song", and "The Duck Song 2".However, some of the songs on the CD we found kinda boring. We just skip over them.

My kids LOVE The Duck Song! I was so excited about the book, as it plays the song and FINALLY I could stop singing it for them. It was hard to push the button on the cover at first, and then the battery died in a ridiculously short time. I replaced it, and the same thing happened again.

I purchased this book for my Autistic grandson. He heard the song and fell in love with it so I went on a quest to find the book. I checked Ebay and found nothing. When I checked Amazon the prices where up around $900.00. As much as he wanted it the was a bit pricey. I checked back with Amazon a month later and found a vendor selling them for $39.00. I grabbed 5 books so I had spares. My grandson can be hard on toys so better safe than sorry. When the books arrived they where as close to new as you can get. They included the music CD and the electronic player on the cover worked fine. Between the condition and speed of shipping I can safely say Amazon is the place to buy books. I am happy with Amazon and the vendor. Thank you Amazon for making my grandson a very happy little bou.

Hello, This book is Excellent. I bought the Used type and it came in just absolutely like NEW. I highly recommend this book new or used when the say 'Like New' - 'Flawless' - They mean what is written. Book is a Book Size - not to small and not Huge either. The pages are thick and Wonderfully Colored. The button is a little stiff at first, but that will break in or if not save on batteries lol...Overall a Great Book at a Super Price - it is a Keeper..
