Fresh Raw Hazelnuts in Shell. 2kg from Poland. Premium

Excellent quality. Big, very fresh and raw - unlike dried hazelnuts from a supermarket. Very tasty.

I buy these hazelnuts to feed the red squirrels that visit our garden every day. So going by they love them and keep coming back for more!

I have not consumed these myself, though I'd imagine they would be fine, but for my intended use, which is for squirrels, they get eaten everyday. We've even tried growing our own hazelnut trees before with no success, but thanks to the squirrels burying them in the garden, we're now always pulling up hazelnut trees. They seem to be better gardeners than we are. We buy these regularly and have never had a problem, nor have the squirrels.

The order as expected always good quality

I liked the 5kg weight as this was most suitable for parcel post. The nuts are very fresh looking, I can’t absolutely vouch for this but my two resident squirrels certainly love them.

I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews but my nuts arrived promptly in a net within a cardboard box. All the nuts seem fine, good size, dry and no mould just waiting for the squirrels verdict.

Good quality product, well packed for delivery which arrived earlier than expected. Very tasty and our red squirrels also like them.

I usually buy hazelnuts for the red squirrels in our garden from Ark Wildlife but as I was ordering other items from Amazon I thought I'd give these ones a try. The nuts are marginally cheaper when buying in smaller quantities and delivery worked out as free. However these are far inferior nuts to the ones I get from Ark Wildlife. They smell musty and have visible mildew on them. Needless to say the red squirrels haven't complained, they do eat the nuts but (as usual) take more away to bury in our garden or plant pots.
