No, this watch strap is not compatible with Forerunner 255S.

Having trouble unscrewing the screws, they are just going round and round, any ideas of how to.

You need to use both screwdrivers/alan keys. Hold one side while unscrewing the other. Only 1 side moves and releases a bolt which goes all the way through.
