The package arrived by Fed-Ex in good condition except one hole in the front of the ...
I received my Nautilus U616 on 04/12/16. The package arrived by Fed-Ex in good condition except one hole in the front of the box. There was no damage to any parts of the bike though. I assembled the bike by myself that afternoon and it took me about an hour. The bike looks very nice and sleek and the craftsmanship quality are great. The bike has 25 resistance levels. Level one is no resistance at all. There are 29 built in training programs or you can do a manual workout. It has a blue backlit display which is very easy to see and read. There is a top display and bottom display so even when I cover the top with my tablet the bottom display shows all my workout stats. I use a tablet and find a bike workout video on Youtube. It has acoustic chambered speakers which you can connect to your phone or tablet with the provided cable. The USB port can be used for charging also. You can setup four different user profiles by entering age, height, weight, gender, etc. which makes the calories burned calculation more accurate. The bike has heart rate sensors on the hand grips as well as a telemetry receiver in the top left of the console for use with a chest strap. The chest strap must be un-coded. The only un-coded chest strap I could find is the Polar T-31 here on Amazon which I find a little uncomfortable because the front is a 12" long plastic strip. I also purchased the Polar H7 chest strap and synced it to the Polar Beat app on my smartphone. The heart rate on the bike console and the Polar H7 are usually very close to each other. The calorie burn is usually close also but sometimes the Polar H7 shows more calories. The Polar H7 also uses a user profile setup with all the same settings like the bike. The bike is very quiet while working out. You can link to Nautilus app and capture your workout data but the app is very simplified and I have sometimes had sync issues as well as sync issues to Nautilus site. You can download your workout data onto a USB stick and then upload it to the Nautilus site. The website is very basic. I found it more useful to just put the data into an Excel spreadsheet and create charts and summaries for the data.As someone else mentioned the console is high since that person was short. I am 5' 9" and the console is OK, but it is tilted forward so to see the bottom of the top display I have to raise up a little because of the lip for the tablet holder. Not a big deal since I usually put a tablet there anyway. It would have been nice if they had made the console adjustable so you could tilt it back or forward. My tablet has a flip open cover so I can use it as a stand so I just adjust that to tilt my tablet forward. It would be nice if the front mast was adjustable up and down so it would work better for shorter people.Th fan is not very powerful so I have ordered a 6" clip on fan that plugs into the wall and am going to test that.So far I have logged about 5 1/2 hours on the bike with 72 miles and am very pleased the bikes performance. I would recommend this bike to anyone.

Good Bike With Great Software<<<UPDATED One YEAR
Arrived on time and exactly as advertised.Assembly not the most simple ever, but not all that difficult. Took me about 20 minutes proceeding cautiously. One big reason I chose this bike is the display board. Plenty of information and simple access to the many exercise programs and settings. The instructions to load profiles could have been more clear. But, with a little effort, the information is in and is saved in memory even if the cord is unplugged. The user can toggle through various measurements while in use such as RPM, speed, HR, calories. The software the bike runs stores a lot of rider telemetry and congratulates you for surpassing previous achievements. But what is really nice is the Nautilus app for your data phone. The app communicates with the bike and the program stores an incredible amount of very usable rider data that can be read a variety of ways. I really like this the best. The seat is well cushioned. The seat stem height is not simple to adjust. You must unscrew the large knob every time to adjust height. A cam-lock would have been so much better. The pedals are large and have a rubber strap over the top to slip your shoes under. There are no provisions for clipless bike shoes. I sure wish there was. The cooling fan is 3 speeds and is adequate and not overly loud. I have not made a lot of use of the speakers, but they sounded good enough to me.Operation resistance is magnetic and it works very nicely. The machine is whisper silent which is awesome to have. However, after only a few dozen miles there is a knocking sound inside the bottom case that seems to come and go. I have yet to figure out what causes this or why it comes and goes. Most of the time it is perfectly silent. If not for this odd problem I would rate this machine Love It.Overall, I highly recommend this bike.Updated 1-16-17 The knocking sound inside the bike has gone away. I have a couple hundred miles on this now and the sound has gone away. Now I upgrade my review to 5 STARSUpdates 12-28-17 I now have roughly 1800 miles on this bike. It has definitely become somewhat noisy. A lot of creaking and small knocking sounds come out of it in use. Nothing alarming, but a little annoying. Riding position has a lot to do with the noises. Sitting upright is less noisy than leaning towards the handlebar. There is not much one can do about this from the outside. The magneto-resistance still works perfectly fine. The display board works perfectly fine. And the Nautilus app is just great. I have compared this to what Nordic Track uses and there is no comparison. This is far better.I'm still happy with the bike, but back to FOUR STARS due to what I would call early wear & tear signs.

Used but like new didn't work
Update I found a scenery stationary App that works with it, Explore the World!! Great app, it synchs fully via Bluetooth. It was advertised as Used but like new but it was DOA after setting it up. It came with a broken wire for the servo motor that was too close to a connector to be repaired so under warranty a repair team was sent out to replace its servo motor. Also the App for it that was mentioned both in the product description 'Nautilus Trainer' and in the product manual hasn't been available for download the last year or two. The only App Nautilus has now gets poor reviews and is apparently extremely basic. Finding an App that does what I want it to do, like the app as I have for my treadmill which shows scenery while moving, has been very frustrating. The stationary bike is now working fine after the servo motor was replaced and it's good quality but not having a good app for it has really made me wish I had purchased a different bike now. And after extensive searching I can't find a good app for it like I found for my treadmill. I will say it has excellent warranty support.
