Love this bird feeder. Easy to fill, the birds love it. Well made and holds up well in rain and wind. Came well packaged, easy to assemble . Fits well on top of an old tree stump. Great buy.

I would give it a 5 but it came damaged. I didn't feel like having to go a wholefoods about 40 minutes from me to return and wait so I glued the edge of the roof back on. Advice: after placing foam on both edges of the roof, maybe wrap it twice with shrink wrap to hold the foam on so nothing breaks. Other than that mishap the item is as described and is perfect for my bird feeder stand.

squirrels also love it but some cayenne pepper mixed with the seeds and on the suet keep them from pigging out. Previous feeders fell (literally) victim to big squirrel booty. This feeder is so sturdy and strong, I am not worried about durability. It is also easy to hose down and clean since the side panels come out! I like that both sides can hold suet as we have a lot of woodpeckers and suet loving birds in our area. super easy to set up and nothing that could be a danger to birds in site! Best feeder I've been able to find in the last 6 years

very attractive feeder, but seed capacity is only about 2.5 lbs, if that. One of the reasons I bought it was because it said it held 5 lbs of seed. The cedar wood should hold up, but it will be interesting to see how the overall construction itself ages. made in China. Just sayin'.

Our other bird and suet feeder broke because a raccoon got into it and pulled it down, so after some research, I decided to purchase this feeder. As soon as I received this, I opened it and put suet on each side and mealworms in the center, then I hung it up...and almost instantly birds started coming. They seem to love it! The day after I hung it up there was a BAD storm...tons of wind and rain...and its still hanging up there with no damage or problems...so I definitely think it's sturdy! I haven't had anymore raccoon or squirrel issues either. I'm definitely pleased with my purchase and think it's worth the $26.99 that I paid. And the cedar smells wonderful! I highly recommend! :)

I got this primarily because it had suet feeders on the side. I wish I had read the negative reviews as I would have seen that it's dangerous for birds. Sure enough, I found a dead bird caught in the suet feeder. No more suet will be put out in it and I will check when winter is over if the suet feeders can be removed. I'll purchase separate suet feeders that are fully enclosed so this doesn't happen again. I felt so bad that I put a feeder out that was a danger for them.

Smells like cedar .. you need a screw driver. The holes for the screws should be pre-tapped, it would make it way easier to build. I had to use a drill. All in all .. its a cute bird feeder and perfect for my birds!!! I would buy again.

Well constructed, most birds enjoy it . The suet holders are nice . The feeder / ledge / perch should be wider as most birds have issues standing on it as it’s too close to the seed tray .

I am very happy with my purchase as I was looking at various types of bird feeders and this one was the right type and the right price, and with a same day $10 off coupon, it offered good value. The feeder is very well built and today, I visited a brick and mortar store and there were similar ones at twice the price. It is very well made, the top roof lifts off so easily, easy to fill and clean. I have yet to see a bird eating at it, and quite possibly will have to add a extra bit of wood to allow larger birds a platform to perch as others have done.

Really like this bird feeder. It is made of cedar and smells like fresh cut cedar. Nice size and the side pockets are great for seeds in paste it is solidly built and should last a long time in all weather.
