According the the C-line.com web site, these index card notebooks retail for $3.51Based on the facts, Amazon charged the consumers, $1.48 dollars over the retail cost, and called it a bargain. In the years & years, I have ordered from Amazon, this is NOT usual & customary practice to charge OVER the retail price, it is not good pricing practices. Amazon should make appropriate adjustments in this matter. So is this a issue for Justice Department's antitrust division to review??According to an article on Retail pricing from about.com, a division of the New York Times, "Pricing errors can cost a retailer much more than a dissatisfied customer. Poor pricing practices can result in undercharges that eat away at a retailer's profit. I have the complete text message conversation, plus a follow-up email from a "supervisor" representative who had to contact the manufacturer, who stated I was right it was for a CASE for index cards, and NOT an individual pack with a retail cost below the advertised special price. This was offered the same time as this product, and was positioned next to the other index card offer. I am not sure how the other index card order will be handled, but I have the very long online text conversation with a sales representative, and an individual in a supervision role who I requested, who then contacted the manufacturer, and confirmed the index card order was for a case (per email to me the next day) saved on my computer. Very disappointing! Durable and is what I expected. I’m happy with the purchase

Though it says so in the title i didn't realize i would receive a random color. i got pink which i'm not a fan of but its the same product and it will do. The pocket on the inside of the binder is really useful when you have to tear out a card but you want to save it. Also my teacher always knows which booklet is mine : )

I really like this item, as do the other members of my family who use one exactly like it. Learning this tip from a previous user and post, I put all my passwords for websites listed alphabetically on individual pages and then keep the notebook hidden and secure. I appreciate being able to move the colored tab pages around. The notebook is very sturdy even though the coils are hard plastic. I believe it will last me a good long while. The transaction went smoothly, so thanks for a good experience.

They are a bit pricey but they serve the purpose.

The only thing I didn't like about this index card notebook is that I wasn't able to choose the color myself. The picture shows purple, so that is what I was expecting, but it came as a Royal Blue.

The only thing that would make this product any better would be to add more index cards, say forty more, to beef the count to one hundred index cards per spiral. These spiral bound index cards are a C-Line product so I would accept nothing less than superior quality. The only down side to this product is that it was made in China, not the United States of America.

These are a little pricey and that is the only reason I removed a star. I like that the dividers can be taken out and moved. The notecard deck will last a long time. All in all a great deal.

Exactly what I needed for study notes! I used to get the ones on a binder but thought I'd try this notebook style for a change and I'm liking it more. Looks more compact.

I love using these index cards for studying. Plus they are all stored together in a neat little notebook.

Got these to carry with my all my yarn colors so when I go shopping for more yarn.

I've always hole punched index cards, and put a ring on it for my study notes but this takes things to a whole new level!!! Saves me so much time to just pull it out, and it's already categorized with the dividers.
