Unfortunately, I purchased a few of these items before researching one of the ingredients, guar gum. This stabilizing agent is linked to digestive tract upset, including soft stools and gas-related bloating. And as a pet parent who wants only the best for my two dogs, I will not subject them to these avoidable risks to their health.I frankly don't understand why such a crappy ingredient would be added to food that would otherwise be a great option. As it is, these canned foods are worthy of my dogs. I'll stick with other brands that avoid dubious, unnecessary thickeners.

I can’t really comment on the flavor, because it was for my dog, and I didn’t eat it, although she seemed to enjoy it fairly well. It is kind of pricey canned dog food, but if used as a supplement and not an entire meal, it’s a little more cost effective. I like the fact that it doesn’t have a bunch of fillers and garbage in it. Canines are not meant to have fruits and vegetables as a mainstay in their diet. This stuff is all meat, which is exactly the best thing for a canine diet.

It is something you have to get used to. It stinks. The dogs love it , which is what counts . Even the picky dog. It is also a little bit watery. Again the dogs love this stuff and it is good for them . I needed a single novel single sourced protein for a dog with allergies ,this worked well.

This would be a great food as my dogs love tripe "BUT" the water content is extremely high, 1/3 is water. Seems to be a pretty high price with that much liquid. I will not be purchasing this brand again due to paying a high price for watered down food!!!!! Message to the company that makes this food, if you lower the amount of liquid you add to this food let me know, I will purchase it again, but only if I am not paying for watered down tripe!!!!

Priciest good yet that I have buying for my dog. I also get their kibble and snergy dehydrating veggie mix. In Feb my dog had liver blood work which was 230. In December he had follow up blood work. Doc said his liver enzymes were 163 and 160 is normal. My Buster is 14.5 years and I know this has to do with him eating this alkaline food! This will be his food forever and any other dogs that I adopt in the future!

This is an excellent food for dogs. Excellent ingredients. Great flavor that my dog loves, even though she is a picky eater. Since beginning to use this a few months ago as a supplement to her kibble (when we rescued her), she has gained the weight she needed and is now a happy, healthy little dog.

I add this to my dog's dry food which is also Canine Caviar. I use 1/3 of a can daily for a 15 pound young dog.Initially I bought this to aid in administering a powdered medication. Now it is a part of his diet. It is a nice consistency and does not have a strong smell.

Dogs love it. Just remember this is not a complete nutritional meal. It's meat meant up be a topper.A bit pricey though. However I'm hoping I'm paying for excellent quality.

My dog loves it because it smells so great (i.e. the salmon smell is so strong), he gobbles it up when i add it to his dry food. I only wish it would come back in stock soon because my 24th can is running out soon.
