Home Source Storage Cube 6 Shelf Bookcase Wooden Display Unit, Oak Effect, 90cm

I've had these cube units from different furniture shops before, so thought they would be excat same from amazon.It arrived and as you can see from the diagram the unit is for it to go length ways. I ordered this unit because I wanted the height as it showed on the page before I ordered it So as you can see in the picture I've built it up, but left disappointed now I will have it they way, left with seeing the screws on top, which doesn't look the best. As that's the way I needed it to fit in the space I have. Deffo not worth the price, as it came abit scratched too and not what I thought it would originally be.

Does the job.Paint work is a disaster, if I wanted it to look like a diy job I’d have painted it myself 🤷🏻‍♀️And the little stickers to cover the screws look terrible.If it’s just for storing a few bits and pieces it’s alright but you get what you pay for.It’s fairly sturdy and easy to put together, we did it in 20mins with a drill rather than the key provided

This is a great little book shelf, easy to assemble and it doesn't look cheap.However, beware as you might not get the one you wanted. Some of the other reviews did say that something similar had happened, but I decided to give it a go regardless, the price was just so tempting.I also had some issues with the delivery to begin with. They wouldn't deliver without a signature initially so I missed the first delivery. I ended up paying extra to pick a different date and time slot (they also wouldn't deliver over the weekend). But fine, I bit the bullet and paid more to choose a time I was going to be home.However, on that date, which I had chosen, the delivery arrive 2-3 hours earlier than the time slot I had paid for and surprise, surprise I wasn't at home.The person who was home at the time decided that it would be a nice gesture to assemble it for me and assemble it they did, for which I am thankful for, HOWEVER, when I did come back I was expecting an OAK bookcase and what I had was a BLACK bookcase...All in all though, the quality is great and it is sturdy. The finish on it isn't cheap looking either, but the whole ordeal wasn't worth it.Just pay £20 more and get one from IKEA.

Was easy enough to assemble, arrived on time etc. Not as sturdy as I thought it would be, which is ok as long as you don't lean on it even by accident. The only thing that really bothered me was that it was less than a month after I bought this and assembled it that I noticed the wood that you nail into the back was growing a strange grey'ish mould that spread like wildfire from the backing to the shelves themselves. Had to get rid of it. Don't know if the warehouse it was stored in had a mould problem or not. Felt like a waste of money to be honest, which is a shame because they looked great and should have lasted a good many years.

Bought to put inside, at the foot of my wardrobe for all foldable clothes and nick nacks. Does the job perfectly. Very simple to assemble and looks good too. Now everything is tidy and I can locate items without opening drawers etc as I can see where everything is. An excellent purchase, would definitely recommend.

This looks a lot more expensive than it was very easy to put together and great value for money , the only thing was I thought it came with some drawers

I have a similar storage unit bought from Argos at a dearer price than this. I'm extremely pleased with this at £12 cheaper &, I feel, superior quality - no scuffs or chips & of even colour. If, like me, you want to use it with storage boxes you need to buy them from Amazon basics as they need to be 27cmx27x27 to fit & my Argos ones were just a little bit too big.I'm so pleased with this I may well buy another.

I bought this to go in a cupboard under the stairs as an easy way to organise some of my junk.It fits perfectly into the space and for a cheap unit looks pretty decent.The instructions were laughable and also featured some pieces that weren't even present on my unit...It's also a bit wobbly when fully assembled but doesn't feel like it will collapse.Overall for the price it's excellent value for money.
