Christmas present for my granddaughter. She was very happy to get them.

Bought this for a struggling reader who had gotten the through the first book successfully. She was excited to get the whole series!

The book were in pretty good condition when they came and were very good. Except the last one but it was still very good.

This series has been a revelation. The children (ages 8 and 5) are enthralled and it is so beautifully and intelligently composed that it presents a rare opportunity for bedtime reading to provide parents with a delight of language and story-telling for them, too. A real delight and find. Previous comments were very helpful.

These books are a must for all girls from 8 to 80. They tell of the Cornish tale of how the world of mermaids meets mankind. Absolutely wonderful escapism and fantasy. Highly recommended. I read this to my class of years 5 & 6 and they were enthralled.

Addictive and so different from standard stories. Neither my granddaughter (age 8) nor I could put it down.
