I didn't want to spend the nearly $180 for Apple branded ones and also wasn't sold on the hanging-on-the-ear design. I know I've read that they don't fall out but I wanted some level of noice isolation, not necessarily cancellation. Several comments/thoughts... 1) I got a coupon on these that got them to me for 30% off. I was going to buy them anyway but the coupon sealed the deal. 2) Fake reviews are a REAL problem on desertcart. Looking at all the look-alike products in this group was very frustrating, especially when going to the reviews and finding a large portion if not all reviews looking very suspicious. I after comparing reviews, I determined that this product from this seller had the most legit reviews. Lesson learned -> A perfect rating had a good chance to be fake. 3) The features of this product that I like are the charging/rechargeable case. I wasn't sure if I would like the "stick" but it's quite small and works well. I really like the fact that they give you a number of different sized ear buds. I must have small ear holes because I defaulted to the smallest ones and they are just barely small enough for my ears. A charging cord is included. The packaging is well done. 4) Use - when fitted with the smallest ear buds, they fit fine in my ear. I have to work them a bit to get them in my ear but they haven't fallen out yet after placement. The noise isolation (this is NOT cancellation) is good and why I wanted an in-the-ear design. As noted in several reviews, make sure they are fully charged. If the left unit quits working, it's almost certainly due to low charge. It happened to me once. After placing them in the charging pod for a while, they both connected again to my phone without problem. Initial connection to my phone was easy. I'm not so sure how well they move from one device to the other and I recommend that you NOT "forget" them on your primary device, otherwise you just have to start over with pairing. For my phone, whenever it's on and I take the buds out of their case, they automatically connect and the phone indicates the level of their charge. I don't know about battery run time. They have never died on me while in use. The one time I couldn't get the left unit to work, they have been sitting out side of the charger for several days. Maybe they don't hold a charge real well, I don't know. 5) HERE'S the BIG ONE....Sound quality... So let me preface this by saying that I'm no audio snob. But I also think I have a decent set of ears. I rarely adjust the EQ when I listen to music other than to sometimes push up the mid-range. I like flatter "normal" sound. Extra rich sounds fake to me. So too with bass, I like a solid low end but I NEVER cramp up the low frequencies so that I can "feel the music" or whatever the reason is for that. My musical tastes range from classical to Vocal Choral to contemporary rock to pop. So...with that as it is, my impression of these earbuds is that their sound quality is very good. They deliver a very even sound platform to me. Bass is solid but not overpowering. Mids and high end feel balanced and solid. Are they premium? Of course not. Could I honestly, really tell the difference? I'm not sure I could. The old adage that you get what you pay for is generally true but I think that past a certain price point you start getting a rapid increase in the "diminishing returns" department. It's my guess that these bluetooth earbuds are at a very good place in that 'curve'. 6) Longevity. Now this is the kicker. I've had these for maybe 2 weeks now. Will they last as long as higher priced options? I don't know though I'm willing to guess that long term QC is not quite at the level of an Apple product. That being the case, I guess I'm will to pay less on the front end and hope that they do last just fine. If they break in the next year it will certainly count as a loss. Guess I'll see. I'll certainly be back to adjust my review if it's needed. Review: Great Product for the price point. - Unboxing: Product packaging is secure and well done. the device is easy to remove and accessories are nicely tucked away and quickly accessible for quick charging and ulitmately, first paring and use. I found the charging case and its indicators and ports to be easy to use and very intuitive, but the instructions are also very clear and easy to follow. Fit: Initial fitting of the default ear tips (Medium sized I believe) is pretty good out of the box and with a little adjustment of my ear canal (tugging on my upper ear) make for a more tightly sealed fit for the tips and the overall device in ear position. I have not worn them during a workout as of yet, but that will be another test specifically a boxing and kickboxing workout where fit positioning will be most critical as I will not have my hands free to move them should they slip or move otherwise. I have experienced a bit of movement and was not able to readjust (due to event and action timing) while wearing an Under Armour Earbud beanie https://www.desertcart.com/gp/product/B01M5E2ZPF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -- This may combination may work better if I swap out the ear tips which I will do and test again. There was a bit of discomfort after about 90 minutes continuous wear (including the movement aspect as mentioned). **Note, I also had on a pair of gloves as it was during cold weather and I was working with music while balancing camera gear-- I did not have a time to fiddle with readjusting the earbuds, which I do not often have to worry about with my wired Bose buds. Initial pairing: Quick and easy. My IPhone 6 Plus found the LinkLike 8 quickly and paired seamlessly as did my Samsung Tab A. My Lenovo laptop took a couple of minutes to locate the device but paired immediately upon discovery. I would like to have a bit more volume in the left ear when pairing for the confirmation and power on/off tones in general and especially for instances when the ambient noise is moderately high. Sound Quality: I am an audiophile and spoiled by my Bose wired headset, I must state clearly. This is the fourth pair of bluetooth earbuds I have purchased to stand in place of my wired set before purchasing either the Bose or Sennhieser Momentum True products at $199 and $299 respectively. I am extremely satisfied with the sound quality of the LinkLike thus far NOT having purchased the other to buds or having tested against them, rather using them as the benchmark. I take calls, listen to both music and audio books and I thus far, the sound quality has been really, really good especially when there is a really snug fit in the ear canal. Battery life: Freaking amazing !! I have pushed these things for 90-minutes straight and the battery life was not even taxed. The charging case is brilliant for when the devices are not in use and works like a charm. Conclusion: I really like this product. I will make some customization to my fit and use options and re-evaluate fit and performance. I think this product is a killer value for the price point and I highly recommend if you want seriously good sound quality for a fraction of the cost!!
