Inferno: A Norton Critical Edition (Norton Critical Editions)

The beauty of the Norton Critical Editions are the articles that come after the piece. These give the work context which is important to me, as an adult, trying to understand many of these classic pieces of literature. The translator in his prologue stated that he had tried to be both true to the spirit of what Dante was saying without sacrificing the rhyming convention used. I am not an Italian scholar, but I find this translation of Inferno easier to understand than others I've read in the past.I'd love to see the Norton Critical Editions as Kindle ebooks - then I could highlight and look up words as I read.

I had ordered this book last week and this came exactly as I ordered and right on time, and in good condition, except the cover had some type of crust on it. otherwise good.
