Yes, these worked fine. I wanted to use them as containers for my homemade Christmas treats. I thought they worked great. A gallon bucket is a perfect size for the pop corn I got from Garrett's and much cheaper than using the 1 gallon tin you can get from Garrett's. They were great for my purposes.

Very disappointed, I ordered 10 buckets and only received 9 lids!! buckets are nice but I wish I received all my lids. :(
